First attempt at recreating the LBP moon

Currently experimenting with 3D props for an upcoming trailer, this is my first attempt at recreating the LBP moon. (forgot the stitching, but I'll add that later, since that's the easy part )

Edit: Obviously, the textures need some tweaking, but the star of the show here is the 3D mesh, there still is some room for improvement there as well though.		2013-08-31 19:40:00

So , basically I've spent an entire week on this after finishing the LBP moon. Turns out, trying to replicate the crazy world map MM came up with can drive you quite insane. Ended up giving in and just made it my way. Hope you guys like it.

I just started learning how to use programs like this, and I can appreciate how frustrating making stuff with them can be, coming from someone who can only make a box that doesn't explode once in a blue moon. Great work for sure. 2013-09-14 13:24:00
