Point-bubbles don't work...

Archive: 4 posts

Hello!

A few days I started building a new level but when I placed point-bubbles I couldn't pick them up in play mode... I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I never had that problem before.
I place them as usual, but no matter if the bubbles are set to static or dynamic I just run through them. The more strange thing is, that at an other point in the level it's possible to pick the bubbles up. At some places they work and in most places they don't work. Also although the bubbles are set to dynamic most of them don't fall to the ground... (I didn't glue them to a material or something like that)

I wondered if the problem could be caused by the sackbot I'm using as playable character, but then there's still the question why some bubbls work and some don't. I also used this sackbot with the same logic in another level and everything worked perfectly.

The problem is definitely the sackbot. Anyway, you should double check that bubbles are dynamic and are not dephysicalized. Try putting impact sensors on every single bubble attached to themselves when they are hit by certain tag (that will obviously go inside the playable sackbot). If you still need help please tell me

The bubbles that work are probably the ones that are in the front layer. I've experienced this glitch before

Hey ! I already had this problem in "Workshop's twin sides" ! To fix it, you have to change the layer of the level entrance (if I recall). If it doesn't work try to change the controlinator layer or something else...it's a layer issue. Also think to check your bubbles aren't dephysicalized !2013-08-26 13:47:00

Thank you for the fast answers I guess I'll have another look on the layers then... I probably didn't have that problem in the other level I used that sackbot in, because there nearly everything took place in one layer...

Edit: I put on every point bubble an impact sensor and attached it to the bubble and it works now, yay! thanks!

I've got another general question, which doesn't fit the 'point-bubble-topic', but still... can someone tell me in which level I can find the snowflake material?
