Hey Guyz, Hey Gurlz Just wanted to showcase a new project to you I'm working on right now. First I wasn't sure what kind of level it will become in the end when I designed two roman soldiers, a spear man and one with short sword. I reworked the basics of the fighting mechanics of the Soul's game series; Means: I gave 'em two different attack strikes and a shield to block enemy attacks for the price of stamina. I kept on rebuilding some typical Soul's enemies: Some easy kind of zombies, some of them got crossbows, and one harder enemy called a 'Dark Knight' (picture 2) I really liked the gameplay mechanics, so I built some bigger guys to fight against - I decided to add at least 3 epic Boss fights, two of them are finished by now (picture 3+4), a third one will follow these days. Also the Design on the screenshots is not final; hopefully there will be enough space for more decorations. This looks very impressive so far, good work man! I will be very interested in reviewing your level over in my Rebl Reviews thread when it is finished. I highly recommend you check it out as it has a lot of relevant material to your creation. Here is a link to it: https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=81425-Dungeon-Break My concerns about this are that the project will come up short in the same areas that levels like Dungeon Break have in the past. That is the graphics and animations will be superb, but the gameplay will be shallow and boil down to a Zurg rush enemy AI where the same tactic works against all the enemies, boss or otherwise. Levels like this in the past have boiled down to backing away and mashing the stab button. I am optimistic about your project, however, because of the variety of enemies you have already displayed. It is my BIGGEST hope that in the finished product of this level you include strategy elements that require different approaches to different enemies. The gameplay is the CORE of a level like this and I hope your level can excel where others have failed. A highly suggested move is that you allow the player to bash an enemy away with your shield. This is something Kalawishis (I hope I spelled that right) has suggested in the past and I highly recommend as well. Hopefully that helps you out, let me know if you want any help with the music. I'm happy about every (hopefully positive) review for my level So just do a review if you like to do. The other level you mentioned, ... well, i never heared about it before^^ though i don't want to copy elements, I will check it out. Hope there are not dat much commons to my level But be sure my level will not become a generic dungeon slayer. Like i mentioned, i tried to create a fight system very common to the Soul's series. Even if the fights won't become dat gripping like a real Soul's battle, the stamina-bar that decreses with every action you do and the timing-based ability of blocking enemy strikes will prevent my level to become a button-smasher. Die Bilder sehen richtig toll aus und zu meiner Erleichterung bist du auch vom urspr?nglichen MK-Levelkonzept weggekommen. ^^ Finde aber, dass du dich bei Demon Souls / Dark Souls eher f?r zwei der schlechteren Songs entschieden hast.
