The best adventure starts again, as future residents (some good some not) pack their things up, and move to the big city. Well, it's not really that big.. why? Because only up to 20 people are allowed to join! So don't hesitate, and join now! HOW TEH GAME WORKS! Written by Ryan86Me and Burnvictim42 In order to participate in the LBPC Mafia, you need to sign up. Signing up is easy – just leave a post on this page saying “I'm In.” (or any other phrase of signing up that suits your fancy), and I will PM you your role after a fair amount of players volunteer. Roles are randomly generated, so requesting for a role over PM will result in absolutely nothing (even if you give me cookies). There are two individual teams – the Civilians and the Mafia. The game proceeds in two repeating stages – day and night – and starts off with day. Every day, each member of the game will use logical deduction and exquisitely random guessing to try and determine who they would like to vote for – the citizens wanting to discover who is Mafia and vote them off, and the Mafia wanting to vote off whoever floats their boat. There shall be NO PMs among citizens – all discussion will remain on the game’s thread. Everybody will vote on whoever they would like to vote on. The handsome chief of police – yours truly – will frequently tally up these votes, in order to give the fair citizens and the not-so fair Mafia scum a report, which will be publicly posted as a standard, grade-A post. When the night comes, the Mafia will privately communicate via PMs who they would like to assassinate. Then, when they come to a conclusion, they will all PM me the group’s choice. If the Civilians manage to kill off all of the DMM, they will have officially won the game. If, however, at any time, the number of Mafia members is greater than the number of Civilians, the Mafia will have won the game. When playing this game, there are two things you will largely want to do. First, you will want to tell off all of those Mafia scumbags, and find out who they are. This requires deep, hard thinking, but guessing or using Random.org is, of course, a perfectly viable solution . The second thing you want to do is profess your innocence, though you will probably save this for when you have a lot of people screaming “EVERYONE, BELIEVE ME! HE IS PART OF THE DARN MAFIAAAA!”. NEW: Now with the role of the Bartender, you can be choosen to be capable of dying with drinking too much. In your PM, you will be told if you are capable of being killed by the Bartender. TEH RULES! -Do not post a picture of the PM I sent you saying what your role is, even if you are dead. You may post it after the game is over if you want however. -Stay active. There are always those foolish inactive players in the game. Don't be one of them. Unless you are a peanut. Peanuts don't speak. -Do not privately reveal your role to another member. We want to have fun in this game, even if you are the most hated person in the whole town. -At night time, you may not post game-related information, such as who you think is guilty. You may however, post funny gifs and ask me if it's day yet. "Are we there yet?" -If you are confused or want to know about another mafia game, check out Ryan86Me's previous mafia game. ROLES: Mafia Faction Mafioso - A standard member of the Mafia. Every night, the Mafiosos will collaborate with the other Mafia members to decide what Civilian will be killed, and then PM me the group’s choice. The Trader – The Trader can switch with anyone's role. For example, if he chooses to switch his role to Bobby, Bobby will become a mafia member and the Trader will become whatever Bobby's role is. Civilian Faction Civvie - A standard civilian with no special powers. A civilian can vote during the day and participate in thread conversations, but that’s about it. Sheriff - A Sheriff can, during the night, detect the role of any player. Every night, the Sheriff will PM me, asking for a player’s role, and I will tell them. However, since roles are not public, and lies are abound (anybody can claim to be the Sheriff, but in reality there’s only one), the Sheriff will have to rely on trust to convince everybody of their target’s role. Bartender - The Bartender can serve free drinks (on the house) at night and make people drunk enough to die. Although, 4 out of all of the players (including mafia), are at the risk of dying of drunkness. If you are not one of those 4 people, you cannot be affected by the Bartender. Doctor - Can protect one player from any night attacks. They will PM me each night, telling me the player of their choice. TURNS: The game will start in the day. During the day, all players will vote on who they would like to kill (Mafia members included). After all of the votes come in, or the 2 real-life day limit comes and ends the day, the night will start. During the night, the Mafia members will discuss, via PMs, who they want to kill. Nobody can post anything related to the game at this time (all game-related discussion will happen during the day). After I receive all of the PM's from the Mafia and the special civilian roles, or the 2 real-life day limit comes and ends the night, the day will come, and I will provide a report that will say what happened during the night. Ok, here's a better understanding of these 2 roles.. The Bartender can serve drinks to whoever he wants at night. Because the bartender is part of the civillian faction, he wants to kill the mafiosos. At night, he or she sends me a PM saying who he or she wants to serve drinks to. She may or may not choose to PM me to do that. 1/3 of the players can be killed by the bartender. So that's why he or she has to make a wise decision. Like let's say. "I choose to serve drinks to "X". Well, if "X" is CAPABLE (meaning can die from) of dying from the bartender, then "X" will die. It's really the same thing as the vigilante, except the bartender has unlimited tries, and can only kill 6 people. Now, let's say that the bartender chooses to kill "Y". But the only difference is that "Y" cannot be killed by the bartender. Therefor, "Y" won't be killed and the news in the next morning will inform that the bartender failed to kill "Y". --- The Trader can only switch once in the game. Only at night. EDIT: Now he can kill up to 3 people.

I have found out the answer to the mystery of life: the plural of "mafioso" is actually "mafiosi." Not "mafiosos" or "mafioso's." I can't blame for the mistake, I have done it myself too many times for that.
