Hi guys, I need help with a certain type of lighting effect. The effect I'm trying to achieve is making an object glow, not sure if anyone can remember in some of the story levels they had these stars that would hang from strings and it would be glowing either pink or yellow or blue,etc. Does anyone know how to achieve this effect, if so, would you please be so kind to teach me , I would gladly appreciate your help. Thanks in advance EDIT: Anyone out there? Please I really would like some help please.

do you mean how to get light to make a glow circle around something or how to make the object light up

If I'm not mistaken its to light up a object, like those stars, ill try adding a image for a better example. 46533 I've seen other levels, user created levels with them in, yet I can't figure it out. If you know, could you please explain to me how you do it. Thanks bro.

You could use Neon material (or slap a light on it, but i dont think its the same). You get Neon material if you get three stars on Collision Course, which is nearly impossible unless you're hardcore. SHARK UHGRUGRUGH NINJA

You can't get it to look exactly like the PS3 object. You could put a light in a box of thin outer layers and a thick middle layer, or you could buy the Time Saver Pack if you can't get the Neon Material in another way.

You could put a light in a box of thin outer layers and a thick middle layer, or you could buy the Time Saver Pack if you can't get the Neon Material in another way. thanks for replying "TheEnimal", I did however try what you said, and it sort of worked, that's if you want to grab onto something, but for lighting effects it works perfectly, and also I decided to but the time saver pack as I just could not get that neon material, so not to say I didn't try, trust me I did, ALOT, lol, but I need to move on with my level building and just decided to spend the money. but thanks again for replying, I do appreciate your effort
