I thought I would try something different and actually give the player a visual effect to what their hearing. I never thought I would be able to pull it off with all of the timed items being in sync. In the end it worked out exactly as planned. I created a full piano based exactly on a music sequencer's music. I also was able to convert every single note of a song onto the piano to simulate an actual piano playing. The notes can be simulated quite well at 125 Bpm. I've also made a color system to distinguish what is played in the left and right hands. An entire song takes very little logic to display on the piano. That just means that there will be more songs. I plan on creating the piano into a gallery of songs to be listened to. The only downside to all of the wires is that a 2 minute song could take anywhere from 3-10 hours to convert to the piano. I'm also thinking of adding other elements such as a drum set to add even more effect. In the end all of the work will be worth it, and I will have had fun creating it. Edit: Well school has started and I never thought I would be as busy as I am. Not even the first song is fully completed because as CuriousSack said, it is a "Mammoth Project." It all depends on the few hours after school that I get to work on it. First the song has to be made, then I have to convert it onto a sequencer and program it ever so the same as the song and connect it to the left or right hand. I plan on getting this out before Christmas for sure.
