Tilt Sensor - Left/Right Bug.

46512Hi everyone. I am experimenting with the tilt sensor on the controllinator for my new level but it seems to be buggy or something. I have posted a picture of the basic setup behind the tilt mechanism. It is simple you grab the platform with 'R' and tilt the vita, then it goes either left or right depending which way you tilt. BUT, when I seem to tilt the vita right it works fine tilting it in a small angled motion or tilting the vita so that it is totally vertical in a large motion. The problem is when I then go to tilt the vita left, I cant tilt it slowly in a small motion like I do when tilting it right because if I do, the platform continues to tilt right instead of left. But then if I tilt it left in a large motion where the vita is almost fully vertical it then moves left as normal? Is this a bug or something?

-BTW My vita tilt is working perfectly as I went on the welcome park app to test if the tilt was broke or not but it is fine...

Could you link to the picture? I know I have a lot of problems with tilt controls. I normally first restart the level as sometimes it just loads weirdly which you can't do anything about and then I just start tweaking like crazy. In my opinion I don't think they thought tilt implementation through very well for large uses.2013-08-16 23:16:00

The problem is the AND gate you're using.

Try putting the controlinator on a circuit board on its own. Then connect the grab sensor to the Activation Port (on the bottom) of the circuit board (with the controlinator).

This will activate the circuit board when the player grabs the platform and allow the correct signal to go to the Advanced Mover.

Thanks for the solution fluxlasers, I did it a similar way by changing the AND gates value from 'smallest value' to 'multiply values' and that seemed to work. Thanks anyway.2013-08-17 13:08:00
