just thought i'd post a thread to my level summer island. its been out for 2 days now and i would love it if people would start noticing it. i've put roughly 33+ hours into it and i hope you enjoy it. feel free to post your level here too as i would love to play and comment on them my psn id is elas12

Okay, I went ahead and played it and here is the review: PROS I enjoyed the scenery. It looks like you built some custom foliage here (I didn't recognize it from the MM at least) A few good surprises like the ground collapsing Good game play Fun I thought the wheel with the feathers was cute CONS Twice when the ground collapsed (which was scripted - I was supposed to fall down) pieces flipped over and killed me. No real danger - I pretty much went right through the level without practically any peril Some spots of dark matter that are holding up pieces of the game clearly visible. No puzzles or anything especially interesting to do The biggest issue here is originality. Although the level was pleasent, it could have been one of a hundred other levels. In fact, I noticed several ideas (even objects) that were plucked straight from Dinosaur island. My biggest suggestion to you as a creator is to try to find a concept that hasn't been done before. Be creative. The point of creating in LittleBigPlanet is to give some of yourself. My suggestion is that you browse around this site for inspiration. You have authors such as Takelow (the Bearer, Way of Light, Space Opera), Voltiare (H.A.T.E.), Neverynnal (Sin City, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes), plus MANY more who are each creating things that are incredibly original - no one has seen ANYTHING like this anywhere else in LittleBigPlanet. Find something YOU relate to and build a completely original creation. At the absolute least have a few areas in your level that try to do something unique.

thanks ccubbage for your comment it isn't really my best work as its my first time putting a lot of effort into it. i think i should change the scenery and add a bit more puzzles and enemies. thanks for the info.
