What do you mean? Like a forum sig?
Well, technically all you need is an image manipulator and some creativity.
If you don't have the dough for Photoshop GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/downloads/) is a free utensil of equal capabilities.
Fire up the program, set the size to an acceptable size, make some scribbles, toy around until you are satisfied then save the results.

That's a start at least...

Signature picture? For your LBP level I assume? We kind of need more information, are you talking about a forum sig or a picture for your LBP level?2009-01-28 06:42:00

You are able to buy some signatures pictures from the shop (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/xperience.php?go=shop&cat=6), and I think you can ask some people to make one as well. I'm guessing with the ability to purchase XP (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/xperience.php?go=shop&cat=9) to give to others, you could even thank them for their time in that way. 2009-01-28 07:09:00

Lol, I made my sig on word. After making it just right click and select 'save as image'. Then get a photobucket account at www.photobucket.com. Here you can change the size and stuff like that. Right click the image once uploaded there, copy the url onto this site in user CP and your signature should work. If you have to change the size then just go back o photobucket.2009-01-28 08:05:00

Download Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/downloads/) like Morinn said, and then get familiar with the controls. Just have a toy with it. When you are fine with the tools, go Here (http://www.gimptalk.com/forum/gimp-tutorials-and-tips-f8.html) for some tutorials to get some sigs churned out ;]. Then when you have tried a few you can move on to the more advanced tutorials. When you think you have that down you can just start creating with all of the things you have learned over you tutorial phase :3. There are many people in this section of sig making like Code1337, RchpMickey, Me, and many others. Good luck because making these images can be fun!2009-01-28 12:21:00

It's hard to explain without you having a good image editing program. Like the others said, download GIMP, and you can work your way up from there.2009-01-28 12:58:00

Ok thanks guys i really appreaciate all the help. I was talking about a forum sig picture liked most of you had mentioned.

Just one quick question... is GIMP a safe source to download, because im not a fan of downloading much of anything off the internet after i got a virus that screwed my computer up for like 5 weeks.

Stay on Topic please =/

and yes Gimp is safe and after downloading get used to the controls and then you would need to download some brushes which are safe too at Devianart.
