So As by my title You guessed it sack folks! I need help. I wanted to do something different for a change but I have only a few problems.... - I need help with Logic and Designing. So your thinking- It's easy to add scenery! Well I think Not. See my levels for proof. You'll recognise. I don't care how many of you help but 1 thing I'm defently ( mispelt ) giving you is full credit. I am mostly on psn so invite me when you wish. Goals- Music,Logic,Scenery/Design and Building help. I'm trying to get an mm pick and as soon as I do I'll help make people levels. ( If I ever EVER Get a crown send it to my Dlc Psn- TheBlitzyGames ) My psn for now is PCStoryMode. Thank you for reading!<3:star: | 2013-08-07 02:27:00 Author: PCStoryMode Posts: 3 |
Here are some tips to get you started... 1. Study the in-game tutorials. Make sure you take the time to practice each and you can complete the exercise each example in them. 2. Work on collecting lower-level pins and trophies. Wise man once said, one cannot reach the top of the mountain unless one starts at the base. By aiming to get lower level pins, you'll naturally learn how to build good levels. 3. Focus your goals in creating. A movie is not created without a script, an anime without a storyboard, a chocolate frosted yellow sponge cake topped with whipped cream and strawberries without a recipe. For LBP, plan on what you want draw a map on paper, then draw more ideas on each element such as your obstacles. When trying to building something has got you stump review the tutorials to the mechanics you are using, and if you are still stump then this is a good place to ask. 4. Participate in contests when they come about. Right now the only live contest I know of is on another site, LittleBigForum.net. However by participating in contests, you can have a goal set in mind, especially when you are suffering creator's block. Most of my levels currently posted were a contest entry at one point or another. However I left them all up there because they serve as an example of my growing skill with LBP (not to mention, I usually cancel several of my projects) and it proves that my skill develops as I aim to win a contest. I could go on, but you probably get the idea from here. Hopefully you will take more time to focus your own skills first. When you have a more set plan to what you want to do, then I am sure many will be willing to extend a hand. | 2013-08-08 02:09:00 Author: WyomingMyst Posts: 101 |

Not too much, but I would suggest playing other brilliant levels. This may sound strange at first, but its sort of like the more you read, the better writer you will become as well. The more levels you play, you may gain more ideas or logical prowess when creating. Playing other creations may spring ideas or possibilities you may have never considered. It can also make you feel comfortable trying new things or even cure creators block sometimes. This may sounds strange, but when I have difficulty creating, I watch movie levels or play music levels. Then the thoughts come back. Although TC, I feel you with the designs. My artwork is terrible. I had some success just telling people what I wanted and having them build for me. You may have more success posting in the project ideas thread or in the Happy Gadders section. This is how I built a giant team for my game. You will be suprised how people will jump to help a complete idea. Thats my number one advise if you want to build a team. Have the idea ready, and your more likely to get more help.
