Hey, woulieka

I enjoyed the gameplay in this level it was really fun. There was one bit which I found frustrating, it's where you have to swing across some gas and drop down in between some spikes on both sides of the walls, it had very little margin for error and took me many goes, I think it would be better just having the spikes just on the right side so there is still some challenge but not too frustrating. Also at that same bit I fell down by the gas and landed in the furthest away layer and survived and managed to cheat a bit of the level xD. Also an improvement you could make is to make visuals less in the way. I found that often leaves and branches where in the way so I couldn't quite see what to do, I also some little could help as well.

And finally... a little create tip as I saw you created this level in only 48 hours. What I like to personally is create gameplay section separately out of cardboard very basic, and make sure it's all neat and to the grid. Once I have quite a few pieces of gameplay I then start piecing them together so that they are in a nice flowing order which are progressively getting harder. Then once I am completely happy how the level plays I only then start adding details ensuring none of the visual elements take anything away from the gameplay experience. This is just how I personally like to make levels but I thought it might be useful for you to know as I think gameplay is your strongest points, as I saw some nice stuff in this level and I think I remember some clever stuff from your other level. Just remember to take your time it's no rush and good luck!

For your queries about uploaded pictures this thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=75691-How-to-take-effective-pics-of-a-level)is great!

I must say for a 45 hour level this has a lot of promise and as a creator I think you do too. The gameplay itself was fairly average, some nice ideas but nothing too original and special. I'd say where this level stands out is some of the layer use and visuals you've created. Sure at times some subtle things might ruin the look (for example in a foresty level generally winches look better than pistons, and sometimes sponges would be embedded rather than stuck to a piece of wood), but these are things that I think you'll pick up more as you create more.
As I said, you have a great use of layers and having things in the foreground really made the level 'pop' if that makes sense!!

Lovely level, well worth a play

thanks for your reviews! I really appreciate it :3 @originalcreator, with the cardboard creating do you mean like build the whole level out of cardboard first? or make seperate obstacles then glue them together or? XD im kinda confused but it sounds usefull :3 and about the pictures I meant how do I upload my pictures to show up on vita.lbp.me at my level? or ingame so I can post em in this thread. oh and that article was helpfull also about the lighting XD. @Coxy224 thnx for the advice about winches and sponges and im glad you found the stuff in the foreground popping the level up XD thats exactly what I thought of it 2013-08-07 21:02:00

I make gameplay sections out of cardboard all separately then once they are all done i stick them together so I have an entire level made out of cardboard then I detail it.

To upload pictures, take a picture inside your level then go into popit and go under that picture and press upload.

I have it queued. I had a hard time uploading pictures as well. After you take it you hold the picture until options appear then upload For whatever reason I had to play mine after published, then take pictures then upload. The pictures I took before I publish a level will upload but don't appear in the description. I loved the trees in your other level, btw.2013-08-07 23:10:00
