Making a material grabbable & movable underwater without floating to the top?

Archive: 3 posts

Is this even possible? I tried Googling it and got nothing.

For example, in my level, I made an "oyster" underwater and there is a locked door beside it. I made a "pearl" out of a grabbable material, that you have to drop into the oyster to unlock the door. But the "pearl" floats in the water since it's the light material. I tried to change the settings on the anti-gravity tweaker; it sank the pearl which was what I wanted, but it also made it to where I could not drag to the oyster.

Sorry for any typos, I am on my phone.
Also apologize if there is already a thread on this.

I don't get why adding an Anti-Grav would change whether or not the object could be grabbed. That sounds like a mistake.

In any case, what you're trying to do is entirely possible with any material with an Anti-Grav and a Material Tweaker.
With the Material Tweaker, set it to 'Grabable' and with the Anti-Grav set the 'Gravity' and 'Dampening' to 0%, and set the 'Zero Bouyancy' to 100% so that all bouyancy water-physics are removed.
You're on the right, track, man. I don't see why you're having a hard time.

Omg I feel like a total moron. I forgot there was a "Matetial Tweaker."
I'm trying to get used to all the extra gadgets from the Lbp2 from when I was only messing with the more simple gadgets on the first LBP.
Thank you for helping me out even though it was super obvious to anyone...but me haha!!
