So a few months back I posted a survey on a bunch of forums, including this one. That survey has done a great job in helping me with a research project that I am working on for my master's degree, but unfortunately I still need about 10 more responses before it can be 'complete'. I brought it back here because the little big planet community has easily been the most helpful, and I am coming to you guys for one more request... If anyone here can chip in a little of their time to help get me a few more quality responses on this survey, I would be very grateful. That being said, let me describe the survey for you quick, because these have been common questions, if this doesn't help, start posting questions to this message, I will be keeping an eye on it: Here it is: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/XV7FLKR The survey is ten questions long, and it is about music, and philosophy I suppose, relating to video games. Question 3 asks for a list of games that you have played... you do not need to put every game you have ever played in that answer... just write a few of the more meaningful ones that come to mind; I would much prefer that you put more response time into the more meaningful questions that come after that one. There is a question about 'culture' in games that has gotten a lot of feedback. The point of this question is if you think any particular game worlds themselves have culture or not.. i.e. if the gameworld were a real place, would it have culture based on what information the game provides? Also, there is a question about 'environmental music'. This question is what my dissertation is based on. The point of this question is that I am curious about your experience with game music. Have you ever noticed that some games have music to describe certain environments like water/forest/city/town/desert etc etc...? - then tell me all about it, I want to hear about your experiences with this!! Alright. Well with that I leave it to you guys.. I hope to hear back from some of you, and thank you thank you thank you to anyone who does chip in a bit of their time, it is greatly appreciated!

For the question regarding what games we've played on each console.... how many would you expect me to list, for example? I've probably played over 50 games on the PS3 alone!

For the question regarding what games we've played on each console.... how many would you expect me to list, for example? I've probably played over 50 games on the PS3 alone! I do not expect to hear about every game you have ever played! it would take me weeks to write that down myself! I just want to hear about some of the more prominent games that have impacted you in your experience playing video games. 50 examples across all of the stations combined would be more than enough if they were all important games to you... This being said however, you may put as many as you like, be that 1, or be that 1,000; I will gladly accept any amount of information, and the more you provide the better. The point of that question is to give me an idea of what kind of games stood out to you personally... it helps in narrowing down information about games that I have never heard of sometimes, and re-affirms the significant games that get mentioned a lot. But like I mentioned in the post above, it would be nice to hear more about your responses to the questions that come after that one, for they are more relevant to the curiosities that I have

I am glad that you enjoyed it, I don't hope that this is a painful process for anyone! - it is supposed to be an enjoyable experience in comparison to the typical survey nonsense most science makes you go through :-P Done Are you gonna post your findings? I do not know if I am technically allowed to post results or findings... but when I get all my work finished up and handed in, I can probably come back and post the paper itself if you would be interested in reading it. But Thank you guys for helping out, spread the word of this thing to gamers you know
