Why does my main music stop?

So I have been creating some custom weapons and have a couple that play a small segment of music via a sequencer when triggered. Problem is, the first time this occurs during the game the main music that is positioned on the scoreboard stops working, never to return. ![]() Can anyone shed some light on why this might be and how I could possibly eliminate the issue while still being able to have the musical segements to accompany the weapons? You can make it play the music locally, focusing the sound on the temporary music, attenuating the over music (never actually stopping the over music). Not really more complicated, I initially just had the music track on the object I was weaponizing, but it was hit and miss whether it would play or not. With a sequencer it at least plays the sound every time. However, both ways I have had the issues with main music cutting out. I've used this method in my Brick Breaker level and it was fine. Have you changed the main music to "play not during the race? I've used a selector to play different music in different situations. You can only ever have one music track playing at a time. So any new music track will always cut out the previous music. You need to stick with just "speaker" sound effects for weapons....... unless i assume you want to try and re-trigger the main music after the weapon music has played out, which i haven't tried myself, and which i assume would be pretty awful to have a main music track restart itself all the time. | 2015-02-23 16:11:00 Author: Farmer_Freakeasy ![]() Posts: 29 |
