Remembering order of buttons pressed

I'm working on a level where I need some logic that will remember the colours of buttons pressed.
There will be red, green and blue buttons.
I need to display the last three button pushes.
Buttons can be pushed more than once so there can be any order of colours.

I was working on the level quite a while ago and got some logic working but its a bit messy and for some reason every once in a while it would go wrong.
I'm hoping someone might be able to come up with a simpler way of doing it.

You could try activating a tag which would emit the color. Also include another tag on all the colors where if there is more than 3 it will destroy the last one. You could do that if they are emitted in blocks, so when the bottom one is destroyed the next one will fall in place. So when you hit the button, you have a tag sensor and a tag on the color indication, and anything within its radius will destroy, which would be the block at the bottom. Kind of complex to explain by this but I hope this might have gotten you an idea! 2013-07-31 01:46:00

Is this sorted yet? i have a simple logical solution to this that i've used before, no need to emit and destroy anything, just selectors holding the memory and passing it down the line.

Would be easier just to show you, lbp invite me (PSN: zippopot) if you want.
