How do you get Emitter to change direction?
Archive: 5 posts
I've got an "enemy" Sackbot that is set to "Fire" a gun when its in the players (RC Sackbot) range. I have the enemy Sackbot set to "look at" a Tag on the player (RC Sackbot). The Enemy SB fires correctly until it has to change direction (ie, the player passes him). After the player passes the enemy, the enemy projectile is still fired in its original direction. For instance, The enemy SB is facing right but the projectile is still emitted to the left. Is this issue solvable? | 2013-07-30 16:43:00 Author: SirGreenDay ![]() Posts: 144 |
Well... it seems like this would be alot simpler if you used a Creatinator. Sackbots can be set to Attack Mode and when they are holding a Creatinator or a Paintanator, they will fire at the Sackboy/Sackbot specified, I believe. Sorry if this didn't help. | 2013-07-30 19:11:00 Author: Radio447 ![]() Posts: 159 |
I don't use them because they break the illusion that SB is firing a weapon. Bullets coming out of a lighted hat just doesn't cut it. | 2013-07-30 20:29:00 Author: SirGreenDay ![]() Posts: 144 |

You could just have an invisible holo/sticker panel that follows the sackbots and stick the emitter on there. Then you can set the holo to "look at" the player. | 2013-07-31 10:00:00 Author: Ali_Star ![]() Posts: 4085 |
