The Pixar Theory!

Archive: 6 posts

So I was scrolling down my Facebook news feed...

And BAM!

I discovered a link that has an interesting hypothesis about the Pixar universe.
However, before you read, you've got to understand that there are holes in this theory that I'd like to be filled. So if you guys could connect some of the dots together, maybe LBPCentral can complete this AWESOME theory!

I've seen this on tumblr...it's a nice theory and some of the links do make a lot of sense but I think it's really just Pixar including little references in their films, and a lot of wishful thinking.2013-07-29 19:11:00

Not nearly as good or mind blowing as the Pokemon theory.

Only Cars, Wall-E and Toy Story really fit in, the rest are just shoehorned in. And even then, those three movies don't really make sense in that context

Yeah, my brother showed me this a couple weeks ago. I thought it was a nice idea, with a lot of forced concepts though.
Still an interesting read.

It's definitely amusing, but there are too many holes for this theory to be plausible. Why are all the TVs black and white in Ratatouille if it supposedly takes place in 2007? The fact that Ego uses a typewriter for his reviews also speaks for the time period.

It's fun to speculate, but this is really just the result of a lot of wishful thinking and over-analyzing. It did blow my mind slightly the very first time I read it a few days ago, though.

Apparently there is a comic that suggests the events in Toy Story and Monsters Inc. occur at the same time. I agree, as amazing as this theory should be, there are a lot of holes.

There was also some documentary on BBC Three (channel in the UK) that was talking about Pixar movies, and apparently in every film there is the classroom number the character animation students studied in at the California Institute of the Arts. It is however very inconspicuous but I'm pretty sure the internet has found them all.
