Death of monster doesn't kill emitter

I have a monster with an emitter on it.

The monster has a brain on it.

The monster has a green kill switch from the MGS addon on it.

When I kill the monster, the monster and the brain disappear, but the emitter continues to fire.

I have the green switch attached to: the monster, the emitter, and the brain.

How do I work it so that when I shoot the monster (with the paintenator), it kills the monster as well as stop the emitter from firing? Thanks.

Wait, you have the paint switch attached to the monster, emitter, and brain? Why not just attach it to just the brain?

Here is how I built my turrets:

Make it however shape you want.
Add an emitter that shoots out stuff.
Add a promiximity switch to turn on the emitter when the player is near. That way, it doesn't emit the stuff all the time and clog the thermometer.
Add a protected brain to it.
Add a paint switch.
Set the paint switch to "One Shot" and attach it to the brain.

When you shoot it, it should destroy the brain, therefore dissolving the creature.
