I'm trying to make a small lightning storm in only one spot on my track where the clouds are, my only problem is that I'm pretty sure I'm making too complex due to lack of knowledge of the tools bag. Right now I have 4 timers, a battery, randomizer, selector, couple or gates. Anybody know an easier way to make a couple lights flash in a seemingly random matter? EDIT: Ok, nevermind I figured out the perfect solution for it. To make a localized lightning storm come from a cloud using 2 light sources: Battery(100%) > Randomizer > 4x Timers(2 per light) > 2x Or Gate(1 for each light source) > 2x Light Sources Set your Timers up to control the length of each Lightning flash, I used 0.1 on Timer1, And 0.3 on Timer2, set them both to Forwards/Backwards input method, and wire them into 1 Or gate. On Timer3 I used 0.2, and Timer4 got 0.4, and Forward/Backward method, then Or Gate. Then Set up your Randomizer to control the frequecy of the strikes. My settings are: Pattern: One at a time Input Action: On/Off On Time: 0.2/0.1 (controls how long your light flashing goes on for, much like a burst of lightning strikes in real life) Off Time: 0.4/0.1 (controls how long between each burst of lightning flashes) Now hit add your favorite sound effect, press play, and let it storm!
