Murder Mystery: Good Griefable?

Archive: 5 posts

Hey, I have been thinking about doing a murder mystery level lately (been replaying Phoenix Wright and Layton Bros on my iPad - both are excellent) and wanted to see if you guys and gals think it would get good griefed or not. I've been trying to come up with a good 'not murder' mystery like a theft but they never feel as exciting.
I know that there are levels with death in them but this would have a murder weapon with blood, autopsy reports etc.

So, let me know what you think.

Well, I believe LBP needs as many good levels as possible! Once I saw this movie... Don't recall its name I believe it was called Afraid, but it was excellent, and had blood and stuff like that, and it did got moderated but for a different reason, later it was published again. I believe that as long as you do not include gory and too bloody stuff, it is OK.2013-07-26 16:45:00

Man, I was wondering something similar. I'm making a horror level that requires a bit of gore and other horrific elements, kind of like Silent Hill but not as bad.2013-07-27 06:24:00

From what I've heard they're generally pretty lenient on this stuff. As long as it's not offensive it should be okay. Occasionally things do get good griefed for rather, well, stupid reasons but those are generally easily fixed. I'm sure they would be willing to explain why if it does get taken down.2013-08-06 18:06:00

Maybe you could make it a bit like the Wonderbook: Diggs Nightcrawler. Then you're on the safe side. It could also give the level more charm. Just an idea tho, I think it would also be okay if it's not unnecessary gory.2013-08-20 08:21:00
