added to the queue. But, um, man, I'm not trying to be mean and you know I like you right? This thread sucks. No, really, it does. Do want people to check out your hard work? Then work a little harder to make this thread stand out. You have to "sell" it to the reader. It is your job to convince me, the reader, to play this level. What is the level about? What type of gameplay is it? How did the idea come about? Add some pictures, the level badge, etc. Make. The. Thread. Stand. Out.
I say this because I'm your friend and I want people to NOT pass this level by. If you need assistance with anything, most of it is lined out here in the LBPC Showcase Essential Guide (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=73343-LBPC-Showcase-Essential-Guide-(For-Dummies)). Give it a read.

I tried your level, and to be honest I kinda liked it but... I found it pretty frustrating. The first part shows little to no real innovation (pushing buttons to open your companion's door feel so d?j?-vu... but maybe it's because I played a lot of LBPC11 entries lately, and I guess it's obligatory when you have sackbots). Also, I couldn't finish it because at the "rainbow piano steps", my companion went ahead and totally forgot me... (about this, I'd had found it great if you had to step in a precise order instead of just a line, but I guess it's pretty tricky to program it).

On the plus side, I found the scenery, music, story, and excessive amount of lasers pretty funny. I had some "what" moments, especially when... well, not to spoil, I "learnt to fly with a giant wallhammer". I'm requeuing for later, hoping that this old Macintosh won't forget me again.
Putting some of these rainbow steps at the beginning would give a better feel at the whole level too, people would think "hey, that's not the usual walk on a button/open door type!)

This is really good!
That's an awesome level and a great entry for the contest.
There is just one passage which don't work proper.
Aprox twenty times this "catapult wall" missed me, or let's say crushed through me.
It was horrible to try this again and again and again until the wall hitted me correctly.

Except of this little issue it's a great level

I totally agree with my buddy AVundCV up there- that part got me so much I just decided to rage-quit (I do that alot) You may have seen my review, and I don't mean to be rash/harsh/mean/rude/ignorant/arrogant/obnoxious but this really wasn't one of my favorite levels. Some of the design could use some work, and I kept finding myself get left behind and completely miss the storyline. At first, I died over and over again- hearing my buddy whats-it saying "Oh let's push this lever!" "Oh this isn't pretty!" "My, wasn't that scary!" and I still hadn't even gotten to see what he was even talking about. Once again, I really hate being the rotten apple/negative nancy/rude jude/obnoxious rhinocerous (Yes, it didn't rhyme, mind you) but this could use a few teaspoons of work.2013-07-28 23:11:00
