Ok, so I have been looking into perhaps purchasing the MGS Level packs but I'm not sure whether it's actually worth buying. Anyone who has brought this pack, could you please tell me if it adds much to your experience?

You get the paintinator which adds some great game play to your levels if you use it right ^^ The stickers are nice if you want to make a military/war themed level, and the materials... the only ones I remember getting from the pack are those red, green, and blue metal ones that give off light. I bought it, and I never regretted it.

I found the levels to be fun, specially the final boss. It was even challenging when trying to earn some of the trophies, which added replay value. The various objects, materials and decorations you get are also must-haves for creators.

In my humble opinion it's totally worth it. - You get the worth of en entire "world" of levels. This means like 4 levels and some bonus ones. - You get alot of stuff for creation, there's like 8-10 new materials in there not counting the stickers. It's awesome. - Paintinator. This really opens up your gameplay and creation possibilities. For the Paintinator alone it's worth it. You also get some a missible and plasma balls. Seriously, if you ever bought any DLC for any game in your lifetime well this pack here is better. That's all there is to know. Just buy it and especially if you're a creator. .

Totally worth it. The Mm levels are awesome, the materials are awesome, the music is awesome, and the tools are awesome. Good for a player, amazing for a creator.

We're a LBP fansite, of course we'd but it . And also, it is AWESOME. The paintintor is just fun... but, if you ask me, it's almost worth it just for the VR Survival Challenge... Also, you can test it beforehand by going to someone's pod who has it and having them play it, so feel free to test it beforehand .

I bought the MGS pack only for the paintinator because the paintinator allows people to greatly expand levels and create epic bosses. Also there are trophies that come with it too so thats always good.

As others have alluded to, the new materials that the MGS pack brings are great for science fiction or war type levels. The "default" materials set never really looks all that great or gives a lot of variety on these themes. The MGS pack really opens things up without having to go hyper on stickers and decorations. It really is a lot of good value in general though. But if you are considering either of those 2 themes for a level, then the pack is pretty much a must.
