Allow me to start this off by clearly stating. THERE IS NO REAL PRIZE! THIS IS FOR FUN AND RECOGNITION! Now with that out of the way let's get this kicked off! I am starting this to accomplish a few tasks. 1: We need something fun to do. 2: Bring the community together a bit. 3: Gives everybody a chance to hone their Kreative skills, and recieve more feedback, and plays. 4: The MM team sucks at getting new levels any chance of being played, so we must take it upon ourselves. 5: See reason 1. Ok so here's the setup. Everybody is required to have fun. No premade objects unless they were made by you, or you have express consent of the original author AND give them credit in the level description. Please label your level entries with the prefix LBPKK1, as this is the first Kontest. Second Kontest will be LBPKK2, and so on. If you would like to submit a level, just post a link here to the karting.lbp.me page for it. And do try and play the other levels submitted and leave some feedback for the author. There is to be no H4H here. There is to be no H4H here. If you think it's an awesome level and should be voted for a win, give it a heart. Level with the most hearts at the end of the 2 week Kontest is declared the winner. And we shall clap for that person! So, with the rules out of the way let's get to the theme! I think we should all get high for this first Kontest! Hey...I hear those thoughts of yours...Tsk Tsk! I'm talking about elevation! As in Elevators, Escalators, And Conveyor belts! What's the most Kreative way you can hoist us to the heavens, and get us back to earth!? The deadline for this high flying Kompetition is August 14th, 2013. The sooner you get your entry submitted the more chance you have at getting hearts though so let your imagination (and your kart) fly! And for anybody curious.. even if we only get 2 entries I'll keep this one going. And we could use somebody to eventually video record or atleast take pictures of the top tracks, so we can post it to help grow recognition! If there's any rules that you think should be added or removed, post your thoughts.

Still considering whether I have the time these next few weeks to participate, but I'm glad your taking the initiative! In the meantime, a few questions: Is only tracks allowed, or can other gametypes/arenas be submitted? You mentioned before that we'd have two weeks, but this might be too short. Any thoughts on extending it? Say by one more week? I hope there are others who'd like to join in, we need more organized fun here!

Any type of game mode is allowed as long as it has a central element of being skyward bound. (Air warfare anybody?) And yeah nothing is set in stone, so 3 weeks isn't out of the question. I'll extend it until August 14th.

Haha, I think the Kontest is a great idea At the moment I'm pretty "busy" creating on Vita, but if a funny idea for a track comes to my mind and I get it done in time, I'll take part. But I find it hard to come up with a good idea for the topic of this Kontest...^^

That's cool. Wish I had a vita to lul about with and create stuff hah. And that's the whole point of the Kontest, to do something new and creative to push the community into creating better stuff. With a little luck maybe we can push some of the standard fare out of team picks.

Ah... I'd like to join, but don't think I'd be able to finish my current level then get something conceived and completed in time. Juggling work, TV, and a couple games gives me a few hours a week of straight up creation time - makes it quite the slow process. :/ If I don't get one this time, I'll definitely be in the next, as my current level should be complete by then.

Awesome, I look forward to it StJimmy! Just to clarify this also includes Skytramps, Cannons, And any other method you can imagine, as long as it takes you near or to the heavens and has a way to get you back down to earth level or lower.
