Title pretty much says it, I have a number of batteries, lets say 3, with values of 40%, 20% and 10%. I want to be able to combine these values to get a larger range of usable values. 30% - [10% + 20%] 50% - [10% + 40%] 60% - [20% + 40%] 70% - [10% + 20% + 40%] I feel like I'm missing something incredibly obvious here but alas I can't seem to figure it out EDIT: I've worked out a way to achieve the same effect using counters. Still I'd like to know if this is possible with batteries.

Its pretty simple, all you need to do is hook up 2 OR gates to both of the inputs of a direction combiner, and put the batteries in the or gates, weather they're subtracting, or adding value, and then the direction combiner is your output But be careful because if you connect any of your outputs to an AND gate, or and OR gate, then it makes all values positive, so try to get it all to have a final output of only the direction combiner

What L1N3R1D3R said... Simple use of direction combiners is the best way to do basic addition and subtraction in LBP. You can also do multiplication and division, although it's probably best to get these off someone who's already made them as they're extremely complex. I think CompherMC (guy who makes the tutorials L1N3R1D3R mentioned) has a copyable level with these in but I can't quite remember off the top of my head.

I feel like I'm missing something incredibly obvious here... ...And it turns out I was I was doing subtraction fine, struggling with the addition though, it never even occurred to me to use subtraction for addition lol! I've got to play more LBP, I've gone rusty!
