Hello everybody and welcome to my new track (and first straight up race on LBPK!)

Uprising!

This level was inspired by real events in countries such as Libya and Egypt during recent times as well as the second Gulf War and the American occupation of Iraq. Practically everything that you see in this level was created by myself from scratch in order to best capture the unique visual flavours of the middle-eastern territories of the world. Here's a taster of what you can expect whilst playing:




Accurate military props
Real-time traffic simulation
Dynamic gameplay events
Custom weapon pickup icons
Over 20 unique prizes bubbles to be won


I also messed about with the colour correction filters to create a palette that evokes memories of grainy 1970's archive footage and there are bonus prizes for podium finishes. Third nets you the M1 Abrams Tank, 2nd gets you the Military Humvee and if you can win the race you'll be the proud owner of a shiny new Apache Longbow helicopter! There are also three bonus prizes if you go the extra mile and loot the level.

Finally a massive thank you to both OnePoppa and puppethand666 for their invaluable assistance during the making of this track and their general calming influence, you guys kept me sane!

The level is quite awesome! Fantastic aesthetics, and I love the humvee kart. The custom weapon pick-ups were amazingly done. How did you make that so perfect? A sticker mold? I did miss having some custom weapons though, some machine gun fire, RPG launcher, or something. Also, in the last lap's new path, I had a head-on collision near the start with a car that threw me off track and the map re-spawned me next to the helicopter, beyond the wall, so I had to go along the original path instead of the intended path. Should the cars destroy you if they hit you?2013-07-21 18:14:00

I re-published this to fix a few bugs with weapon pick ups not picking up. Also took the opportunity to change the custom kart, now you can drive the properly proportioned version of the Military Humvee (as seen at the checkpoints along the track).
