AND REVIEW AND COMMENT ON THE LEVEL!!! LET'S GET THIS ON THE COOL PAGES!!!

UPDATES: There have been several updates to the game.. The latest updates will be in BOLD

UPDATE v.1.0 --- When you die the game ends (original mistake: you'd be there all alone invisible)
UPDATE v.1.1 --- A game over screen has been inducted into gameplay
UPDATE v.1.2 --- The Enigmatic Knight can now jump down to the ground instead of being afraid of heights
UPDATE v.1.3 --- A problem with the simple touch of a shooting your arrow caused the game to end during the fight with the Enigmatic Knight
UPDATE v.1.4 --- The swinging ropes have been fixed, something dragged it down during set-up
UPDATE v.1.5 --- The game over screen has been changed to look more proper instead of being all cluttered
UPDATE v.1.6 --- The Prologue has been added for more story
UPDATE v.1.7 --- A few more Green Blob enemies were added in EDEN'S RESIDE
UPDATE v.1.8 --- The Prologue was tweaked a bit more
UPDATE v.1.9 --- Self-Dialogue was introduced to let the player know what to do in-game

Future UPDATES...
As of right now I am in the process of creating a new HUD that will be further towards the screen that won't get blocked by the 3D environment, and I'm also working hard on a 3 Life-Respawn, I will be working on the dungeon as soon as I get at least over 250 plays.

Can you please give me an advice?
I startet the level and was unable to leave the start screen. I was able to cast some spells, but I couldn't move out of the first screen.
It would be great if you'll give me a hint: I am willing to try it again

oh okay XD its cause... good point I should fix that... you need to go to the door to your left, the little wooden door and press R1, I forgot that most people won't realize that -.-

I enjoyed the level very much Rixsch! The scenery was spectacular and I enjoyed the battle system, but there were a couple of things that kept it from near perfection. I now present you with my Yays and Nays!

Yays:
-The scenery and atmosphere was very fitting in the stages I got through
-Attacks were easy to understand and use
-Health system was also easy to use
-Music fit the level perfectly
-Introduction was nice

Nays:
-I felt that the health/attacks/on-screen icons were sometimes hard to read or unnecessary
-Your enemies could have better sprite and variety
-Logic for attack movement and their look could be fixed to look more realistic
-Knowing what to do was often difficult
-A deeper story to build on the player

Score:
7.5/10

This level could go beyond what you expect and all it takes is a little refinement to get there! I would start by improving the on-screen directions by moving them forward so they don't interfere with the setting or emit/create another screen for them. Then work on hints that could help the player if they don't know what to do. A revive system would improve morale for the player to continue playing! Anyways, those are just my personal thoughts! You have a real gem in your hands and a few tweaks could improve it overall! Good Luck on the rest of your updates to the level!

of course! of course!!! I just thought of something, why didn't I think of it before??? I think I know now how to make the respawn work, I was trying this morning and failed 3 times to accomplish it, but I think I know what I need to do now :o

anyways... yes, true, well, that's what the treasure chests are for, they kind of let you know what to do, if you can find the chests though. I think I'll improve that though. Let the character know "There seems to be chests down there, maybe I'll find something interesting."

I'm going to add a prologue that will give meaning to the story. Its all set, I just need to.. well, emit it, my thermometer is so maxed out, I can only add a few things now XD

Yup, I know how the Thermometer can be your worst enemy when you're working on something this big! Anyways, good luck and if you ever need help, just ask! 2013-07-20 18:40:00

Played this a bit ago, before it had the prologue. I'd say it's pretty good. I really like the visuals, and I also liked having the keys to the doors that you had to find. However, I personally found R1 to open doors confusing, as you never told us this was the case, so I missed the wizard. I was also a bit disappointed in the lack of a story, although I think the prologue fixes that. I'll play it again.2013-07-21 15:10:00

I'll be sure to put an R1 near the Wizard's door then XD
I'm going to make a few "self-dialogue" for the hero as soon as I get back on LBP, a lot of people seem to get lost or give up after not thinking that R1+X is for the ledge climb.

Ahhhh, yes, the story, that's why I put the prologue, I had wanted to put the prologue for a while, but I had a hard time trying to make the film until my friend helped me with it. I need to put a credits level as well, just in case people start saying stuff. Right now I wanna get to work on the dungeon and expand the story some more. I really want to focus on the hero of the story and what happened to his family and why the darkness returned after 1000 years.

I played this awhile ago and just wanna tell everyone it's totally worth it. The amount of effort into this seems over the top and should get more recognition than it has. Great job man2013-07-22 07:18:00

Thanks man, I appreciate the support, its unbelievable how the Community only focuses on the lame creations and the MM Picks are usually repeats from a former crowned player. I'm hoping I can become a Ghost to push my levels forward. I just recently added a "self-dialogue" to let the User know what to do in the game.

I gave this a few goes today, but only made it as far as the Queen's door.
The first run, I died to the first slime, because I didn't see my health bar ticking away and I wanted to hug it
The second time, I couldn't find my way back up, and ended up trudging through the gas until I died.
The third, I opened the Queen's door, and then got stuck in it somehow. My guess is I fell back a layer, and I couldn't seem to get out.

I enjoyed what I saw so far, and I see in your "patch notes" that you plan to add in a life system, which should make it a bit easier to complete when I return. Let me know when you'd like me to take another few shots at your level

you the man Victim!!! thanks, and yes, I'm working on the new HUD and life system as we speak it should be done by Sunday I imagine, I'll let you know though! thanks for the play though!

Alrighty then my friend, I'll let you know as well, as for the Queen's door getting stuck, that's unusual, I think I might fix that door altogether as it seems people are getting stuck there or something, if you wait like 1 second after the door finishes opening, a little piece will make it walkable, but I'll fix it. It was getting annoying for me too XD
