Ummm... I can't see any reference to what you are asking. Any particular spaceship or level? | 2009-01-27 11:45:00 Author: Elbee23 ![]() Posts: 1280 |
sorry forgot the link YouTube - (Little Big Planet)?????????????? ?????1? or the whole thing in this one http://www.littlebigworkshop.com/en-us/Tools/Workshop/View?id=1271 | 2009-01-27 11:55:00 Author: Ash_uk1 ![]() Posts: 255 |
Ah, for this you'll need to understand thin layers. If you glue two thick layer objects (in a different layer offcourse) together a thin layer can fit in between. Even though there is something in between, the layers still act like they are connected. What the creator of libidius has done is the sackboy sits in the back layer in an enclosed sponge box. Glued to the box is the space ship that you see. The player has a jetpack on so it just lifts up the entire space ship. There is a grab switch on the sponge box, making the ship fire. You should be able to work it out now ![]() Next time, elaborate your question a bit more ![]() | 2009-01-27 12:15:00 Author: Wyth ![]() Posts: 263 |

ok does any know how he got the spaceship to drop down and stay there | 2009-01-27 18:09:00 Author: Ash_uk1 ![]() Posts: 255 |
ok does any know how he got the spaceship to drop down and stay there Do you mean at the end of the level? I'm fairly confident that it's not the same ship you fly in the level, just a decorative object the author put there. | 2009-01-27 18:13:00 Author: Gilgamesh ![]() Posts: 2536 |
no i mean at the start after u press r1 after a while the ship drops down then stays perfectly in the center of the sqaure | 2009-01-27 18:38:00 Author: Ash_uk1 ![]() Posts: 255 |
no i mean at the start after u press r1 after a while the ship drops down then stays perfectly in the center of the sqaure I think they use an invisible piston. One of the green wires is connected to "nothing", but drops down when the ship does (about halfway between the ship's original position and its new position). | 2009-01-27 18:47:00 Author: Gilgamesh ![]() Posts: 2536 |
thats what i thort but if u look at the video showing you how he made it. at about 5-6 sec theres a green material tht looks like dissolvable and if u look at 2:11 - 2:17 theres nothing above it anymore so it cant be a piston | 2009-01-27 19:11:00 Author: Ash_uk1 ![]() Posts: 255 |
I made a level very similar to this and u can play up to 4 players, http://www.geocities.com/samson107@rocketmail.com/operation107.jpg i also published an unnamed level showing how it's made | 2009-01-29 22:59:00 Author: Samson107 ![]() Posts: 83 |
That green disolve material is there to prevent you from moving the ship to early but he does use an invisible piston. It is where you set it to 0 for minimum length then it becomes invisble I am guessing he started the piston below the bottom of where you are and ended it at the bottom of the ship and then the switch is a directional switch which makes it go the other way than it was. | 2009-01-30 06:33:00 Author: LordCanti07 ![]() Posts: 106 |
