After about 6 months of music composition, and game design we finally finished this project together. It's the first LBP game to feature an original soundtrack, composed completely for the game. All the songs are free at myspace.com/deliciousduo We chose a lush green theme for the game, in a forest. All original creatures, enemies, and bosses. There's braindead beavers, ferocious fish, and bad bad bears trying to thwart your every move. Also multiple paths can be found around the game, for those looking for the prizes and rewards. I don't know if this is the first time that this has been done, but putting up an easily accessible out of game soundtrack is an awesome idea. The songs all fit in really well with what was happening on screen, and none of them would feel out of place if they were a part of the in game soundtrack. Kudos if you really recorded this music for the sole intent of enhancing your level. As for the level itself, it's one of the more competent platformers i've seen. The multiple paths to extra points are a nice touch, especially since you don't need to play against common logic to get them. The boss was a really neat idea as well. I loved what you needed to do to reveal the last brain. As for what could be improved on... when I was fighting the final boss, a piece of the right hand blew off and ended up landing between the jetpack and the checkpoint. After I died, I almost couldn't make it back to the jetpack to finish the level. Maybe put in an extra jetpack or two to let people get around a potential fiery mishap? The only other complaint I have is that the second half of the level got kind of plain. I know that it was supposed to be in a mountain or underground, but it seemed uninspired compared to the rest. Overall, a fun level made awesome by the cool soundtrack idea. and feel free to check out my level "4. Thanks for the kind words, and I'll work on fixing those bugs. And the three levels go from the regular forest, to the haunted one, deep into the ancient oak tree.
