ultimate customization idea
Archive: 5 posts
Why not a custom costume tool for the pc that lets us create our own costume (and lets us download(kinda like the queue feature in lbp.me) and not be limited to what the store has. It can let us do our own hair, colors, holdable clothing shoes and such? Idk just thinking outloud. | 2013-07-11 22:11:00 Author: Unknown User |
Hi KidGamingFTV. That ios actually a really clever idea. You could even design your own skin patterns. To an extent though, you can customise your character a good bit. I was gonna do a tutorial on it. Be happy to share | 2013-07-12 13:29:00 Author: Sean88 Posts: 662 |
nice idea, but a douse of reality ... i dont think sony is going to let you mess with the bread and butter of their dlc. but you could always use google sketch up or any other 3d modeling program to do your models and try to sell them to sony. if you have specific dlc in mind you could call up the owner and ask for a license to do it. | 2013-07-12 18:03:00 Author: deboerdave Posts: 384 |
I think this would only work with fabrics. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to include costume pieces and all this amazing stuff into my levels- really feel like a Curator- but I mean, how on this large earth would a simple creator like, say I or one of my jolly friends be able to make a hat? Or hair? We'd need a modeling software, but not just any modeling software- a good one. One with extensive capabilities that give this, say, headwear a 3D view and portray it from every single angle possible. If not, it'd be glitched and be very unappealing to one's eyes. And with hair- some of it is designed to work with different hats. But you'd have to make so many detailed models and other stuff that you probably would go mad. After all, I do think I heard Media Molecule asking for new people because their other ones quit in a fit of insanity. (That wasn't true. I just wanted to state a point.) | 2013-07-20 01:45:00 Author: Radio447 Posts: 159 |
Radio447 thanks for your feedback. I have thought about it and it will be like: grab an image, cut the image into the shape you want, make it thick or thin then you can make more faces on it, and curve them in or out then tools to cut and make more shapes to make them go out or in. Where you are supposed to grab the thing or put it on. | 2013-07-20 04:39:00 Author: Unknown User |
