LBPC exclusive: Beta of Cave Story: Mimiga Village

Hi, all! I'm doing a private beta of my next Cave Story remake level, Mimiga Village. For those who don't know, Cave Story is a great indie game in the vein of games like Megaman and Metroid, with some RPG-ish elements.

To get the key to this level, search for "@phort" and from first level that you see go left of that and you should see a badge with this guy: http://media.strategywiki.org/images/1/13/Cave_Story_Quote.gif on it. Enter that level and go through the door at the top of the room. Then, after you get launched up by a piston, on your right there will be a single purple block. Grab that block 5 times and the key will appear by the door. Then you can exit and play this level!

This level is about half-finished, but I can't finish it until the Edam update is released due to the object capture bug. If you find any glitches, please tell me!
The thermo's over 2/3 full at this point, if you were wondering. Probably just because I have such a massive number of objects glued together.

To explore two extra areas, go to Arthur's house, and on the left side awning there is a light. Grab that light 3 times and the character guarding the Graveyard will disappear. You can then use the sticker switch that's in the graveyard to get into Arthur's house.

Nice! Really good job on the air gauge.

The level is charming just because you don't have the flexibility of a sprite-based platformer, so you have goofy things going on like Toroko tumbling helplessly off cliffs. Pretty funny.

lol, loving the pictres - so much so that I'm going to go play this. Will edit later with anything I find

I've played it and I have to say, it's a relaxing beautiful level! I played through the first one and that was good, but you wanted feedback on the Beta of level2.

I think it's the fact that there is very little aim that this level is so relaxing and fun. Ok, it's very short and I would advise you combine the next two levels somehow but I still love this level. My favourite part has to be the contraption you came up for to recreate the "Air" feature - genius!
The level got a 4 star from me, but that is excellent considering it's not finished.

To improve
--> More points/prize bubbles, otherwise people will have no real aim.
-->Perhaps a little more direction, I had no idea where I was going....although that did add to the experience. All I want to say is, maybe a little more of a clue of the place you're looking for (i.e. someone saying, I think something is happening down at the resevoir.) It's not a real problem for me, but some others may get annoyed not knowing where to go.
