LittleBigForum is back with a brand new contest for you.
You have waited a long time for a new chance to win fabulous prizes and here they are.
We are proud to announce our new and great contest: LBFC3 – Factory Fascination.
For the very first time in LBF we are offering a shiny and spectacular Rare Prize Crown for our first place, so keep reading to know how can you win it!

Task:
• Create an own and unique level.
• Build a working factory with great visuals and logic. You can collect lots of points by using original ideas and an unique theme for a factory.
• That factory has to produce something very unique ... Something LittleBigPlanet needs lots of...
• You can create any kind of factory (remember there are many different kind of factory types out there), but it has to produce something
-> that means you have to include the product of the factory and the factory machines cleverly with the gameplay and obstacles.

Do:
• Do put [LBFC3] in the name of your level.
• Do publish your level between the 9th July and 20th August 2013.
• Post in this thread (http://www.littlebigforum.net/t1204f7-LBFC-Participant-List.html#msg12153) the lbp.me link for your entry.

Do not:
• Do not republish your level after the deadline.
• Do not use an old level that was already published before and publish it again as your entry.
• Do not publish your level on an old level.
• Do not publish more than 1 level.

Rules:
• Only 1 level per person.
• Only the person who publishes the level will get the prize.
• No levellinks.
• Publish your level between 9th July and 20th August.
• You have to create your level on LBP2.
• It has to be a platform level and only 1 entry per person.

Q: When will the results be posted?
A: We can't say when, first we play all levels and then we will vote.

Q: Are teams allowed to work on this?
A: Yes

Q: Who will get the crown if I create in a team?
A: Only the person who publishes the level.

Q: What if the winner has already the crown?
A: The 2nd place will get it except if someone in the winners team hasn't the crown. That means that the Level owner can decide who of his teammates will recieve the crown when he already has one.

Q: Where will the results be published?
A: In a winnershub and on the forum.

Q: Can I use levellinks?
A: No

Q: Am I allowed to make cutscenes, menus and voice-acting?
A: Yes

Q: Can you play in controllinators?
A: Yes

Q: Can I make a movie or minigame?
A: No it must be a platform level but you can create a minigame in a platform level.

Q: Must it be a 1 Player level?
A: No you can make it playable for 1, 2, 3 or 4 player.

Q: Can it be versus too?
A: Yes

Q: Can I use PS Move?
A: Yes

Q: Can I publish my level on Cross Controller too?
A: No

Q: What can I use also?
A: Use whatever you want. You can also use water.

Q: Who will be the judges?
A: We have a great team who will play your level. 

Q:How is the voting?
A: We have to play all levels and then we can decide with this special schedule:

?/10 gameplay
?/10 design
?/10 originality
?/5 audio
?/5 personal extra points

= ?/40 points
At the end we add all points from every judge and the user with the most points wins

Sadly we (LBF's judges team) agreed that LBVita competitions have had too little entries and as we only have on crown code it was better to host a traditional LBP2 competition.

I know its totally of out theme but has anyone noticed there has never been a LBPKarting crown contest? Not even a regular contest it seems 		2013-07-10 05:59:00

Eh, I'm not a fan of contests that have a vague theme. There's no doubt in my mind that there will be some good, even great entries, but generally contests that have a gameplay restriction rather than a required theme have more creative and memorable entries. See the no-floor platforming contest if you want an example. Additionally, this contest isn't really asking for anything different from the norm. Several levels already fit the description.

We know bonner you are right but to be honest we are still a small forum and so we wanted to attract as many entries as possible to our contest now that StevenI had finally granted us a Crown code! So we made an accesible yet exciting theme for every creator to enter. You can expect maybe more demanding requirementes in the future.
An it seems our idea has been resulting great... Just in our forum we had never had such high statistics about visitors, posts and potential entries 		2013-07-10 16:43:00

If I understood your question correctly, then yep,your factory can produce anything, not necessarily sackbots. You can produce old grandpa's imagination sauce if you want to, the point is that it has "to produce something LBP needs".2013-07-11 03:52:00

I'm creating for the current contest here, but I have a long time until the 20th of August! I might just enter and see how it goes, only time will tell. But, I have a question. Most LBP contest have a special pin awarded to the winner. Is there not a pin for the winner of this contest?2013-07-11 06:41:00

Acts of Green allowed LBPKarting entries, but they would compete alongside LBP2 levels for the same prize. Judging from an lbpk.me search, zero LBPK levels were entered, though.		2013-07-11 16:15:00
