http://i9.lbp.me/img/bl/b19ddc1b87bc6cc5ef2789b559d5f188c7d96124.pngMy Companion Bombshookie_monster[1 PLAYER RECOMMENDED---DIFFICULTY: HARD] The Bomb Factory is now hiring! It's the job people are dying to get. Congratulations potential employee. You have made it to the final selection process! If you want the job then all you need to do is carry a bomb all the way through the Bomb Factory. Sounds easy enough, right?
It's been a while since I've had the pleasure of playing a level over and over and over again, until at long last, I reached the scoreboard. I know I played this level at least fifty times and each time was a pure blast..er..pardon the pun. Trying to get this bomb to the finish line is no simple task. The path is riddled with contraptions and delicate platforming. One misstep, one awkward bounce or even just blinking at the wrong time, will guarantee you being blown to smithereens. The level is challenging no doubt, but it fun as all get out and I cannot wait to go give it another go, especially seeing how someone as knocked me down a peg on the leaderboard!Think before you jump. Should be Think before you die while jumping. This enjoyable level will make you jump for anticipation in this every so exciting bomb carrying factory. You are greeted by a worker whom will want to have a few helpful words of advice before destroying your only needs of surviving. THE ONLY CHECKPOINT! This makes the level a real challenge. Shookie has made this level a real treat for all whom plays this. So what are you waiting for get to your PS3 and play this explosively awesome level today. It's hard enough for me to platform in this game already and now I am coupled with the task of traversing a Shookie masterpiece while holding an explosive package So be careful, cause just one ill timed jump or layer change will lead to KABLOOYEE!!! So if anyone is looking to turn even the most easiest of tasks into an enjoyful burden, then it's simple, just add a device that will go KABLAMO!! at the ever so soft touch of a feather. After many tries I have concluded, I once again will not come close to cracking the top ten in one of those levels you can't help, but to replay over and over again and not even realize, O wow I just played that level a heck of a lot of times, cause why, cause it's phenomenal. Kudos to you again Shookie

http://i6.lbp.me/img/bl/586c999940f1b1d6298cdebd2d14bca394b45686.pngThe cream and the clocktowerzecros4[SET BRIGHTNESS (GAMMA) TO 100%][1 PLAYER] As you enter this level you find some very strange happenings, grabinators, magnets, cosmetics and a BATH!? what have you got yourself into... ALSO! if you get separated from your block simply "pop" and it should be reset. Music by NK827. WARNING: may contain traces of puzzle platformer gameplay.
Well sackboy is once again tasked with helping someone accomplish some sort of goal, this one is a wee bit...strange though. I enter the level and am greeted by some chap taking a bath. He asks if I will get his lotion for him. Let's see here. In my adventures, I have had to find glasses, cheese, shirts, pants, bombs, keys, animals of all sorts, bananas and a host of other things, but never have I had to get someone lotion. I was a bit afraid this was going to turn into a Silence of the Lambs and if this guy asked me to put the lotion in the basket, I was going to run right out of there! The level itself if very well designed with a great atmosphere and really clever gameplay. Trust me, you'll have fun running this awkward errand. Play it.Well, that was unexpected! There you are, minding your own business (well, sort of) exploring this clock tower, when a strange man suddenly appears in his mobile bathroom of all things. Seemingly unembarrassed to be caught mid bath, he starts to chat amiably (!?!), apparently under the impression that what you’d really like to do right now is not get the heck out of there, but go and investigate some cream he claims has miracle properties. Riiiiiiiight, suuuuure! What’s more, it turns out that following him in his bathotron (sic) is not the easy ride you might think. It involves solving various brain teasing magnetic puzzles and then when you actually get to the cream, your situation only gets worse. To demonstrate its wonderful properties, you’re asked to pass some tricky tests involving brushes with lightning fast crushers and strategically placed spikes! Sounds tempting, huh? Well against the odds, it’s an experience you won’t want to miss. It’s idiosyncratic, full of faintly lugubrious atmosphere and great puzzle based gameplay which will have you scratching your head as you attempt to get through unscathed. Play it now! Bathroom could do with a lick of paint though… Hey random guy, who just happens to be taking a bath that moves throughout the tower to follow me around and give me advice and such so I can collect a trunk load of random items . I love the charm this level spews from every floor and dialogue sequences with the man in the scrub a dub dub tub. The platforming puzzles were well thought out and executed. So go use those trusty magnets to scoot you up and shoot some hoops. This is a fantastic level that I enjoyed playing very much and feel smarter for doing so. Kudos to you Zecros

http://i6.lbp.me/img/bl/a965a2949deaad05434f0f9ec817b6cb66b64b2b.pngFelizi tas SummerhouseZ10919901-2 P L A Y E R ( 1 PLAYER recommended for the best experience) welcome to Felizitas Summerhouse she isn't at home but feel free to explore her gorgeous residence and enjoy it ..... song by breezy-the-pro - Nebula
Whoever coined the phrase poetry in motion knew what they were about. Watching the various contraptions in Z1091990’s level whir, lift and slide into place with perfect timing, you can see the beauty of it all. It’s like a skilfully choreographed dance, with each platform, lever and piston moving in sync and contraptions folding and unfolding almost miraculously before your eyes. The setting is simple but beautiful too, with a lovely warm, sunlit feel to it. It’s not all about relaxing and admiring the mechanics though; there are hazards too in this gorgeous summerhouse and getting those prize bubbles without dying is not always easy. Z1091990 has created a wonderful melding of mechanics and gameplay in a setting all golden brown...golden brown texture like sun, never a frown with golden brown...Sorry, just seemed so fitting and now I can’t get that tune out of my head! Anyway, it’s an impressive feat of design from Z1091990 and a level for anyone with a love of mechanical marvels.Whooo!! this level is contraptionally genius. The mechanics of moving parts was freaking amazing and caused me to die on purpose just so I could constantly replay it, just to watch the moving parts all work in sync with each other. From flipping platforms scooting across the room to pulling lever type sections to I don't even know how to describe the mechanics cause they seem to be above my head. Which is sad cause I am an engineer o.O So I guess naturally I am drawn to these sort of levels, but this one go's far and beyond and to anyone else who is drawn to reactionary elements of motion platforming, then this is definitely up your alley for sure. Flawless execution and design brought forth from ingenious mechanics awed me to disbelief that there is still amazing clockwork creations being created in LBP Kudos to you Z1091990

http://i8.lbp.me/img/bl/9c845cff16f121cdfc6a5964fe6e18374c340c9e.pngMINI STONE AGED (Mini game/Platformer)RtooDee2A PLATFORMER with 3 MINI GAMES thrown in for fun! The Cavemen and Dinosaur have become extinct due to an unforgiving thermometer, so step up and travel through the land that time forgot! BIG POINT bonus'ess-es can be made here! Thanks to my testers who will be in my heart forever. Music by the fella himself Buddydestruction. This level was brought to you by FlinterStone Ind.

I love Prehistoric levels. I truly do and this one here has got to be one of the most fun, unique and clever levels I have seen of that genre. Rtoo has done an exquisite job of blending platformer and mini-game, or in this case, mini-games, as there are three cool games to play in order to rack up some mega points. The games consist of bashing points, catching eggs and a cool matching faces game. All three will test your reflexes so be prepared. The platforming sections are something almost straight out of the Flintstones, there's even a Flintstones car! An excellent level that is very deserving of that pink ribbon it just got. If you haven't yet, play it now.Well, nice to know my reflexes are as shot as I thought, lol :S Still I had a blast in this pre-historic playground. It’s tempting to rush through, especially in the race section, but don’t miss all the wonderful details which give this level its appeal, from sarcastic signs to awesome bongo drum platforms. It’s colourful and full of quirky, cartoon style charm. The games themselves are addicting and fun, especially with friends, as you try to rack up those highscoring combos and they’re beautifully linked together by some great platforming segments. Levels like this put the joy back into LBP. Great job!

As well as simple yet affective mechanics such as adding a sprint button. As well as the great gameplay the visuals aren't too shabby either, with a great use of vibrant colours.

Craxy1012 really brought his A game in the visual department in RoBUST. The visuals are absolutely stunning, upon entering you will be instantly be impressed . This is maintained throughout the level, never a slopping set piece visually. The level really came into its own in the second part of the level where a whole we gameplay mechanic was introduced using a Sackbot.RoBust by Craxy1012 one of those levels that don't come along very often. Visually it is impeccable and the art design will grab your attention from the very beginning. But the gameplay is where this level really shines. Completely original gameplay mechanics will keep you glued to your vita and this level in your download list for some time. Enjoy!

http://i2.api.vita.lbp.me/img/bl/342484b49a3760f2858af58679c0aab2539eff0c.pngA Druid's Tale 3jaffakreeHeroically make your way up Druid Tower, to activate Druidia's secret weapon against evil!
Jaffakree has done it again. What he established in the first two installments of A Druid's Tale, is continued with part three, and might be the best level of the series so far. Jaff has made a name for himself in lbpvita with beautiful art and rock solid gameplay, and it shines like a star here. Guide Sackboy to the top of Druid Tower and unleash Druidia's secret weapon. If you dare!More druid magic from jaffakree! Once again Sackthing must save the day. Heroics are called for as you battle your way up the druid tower in a last ditch attempt to save Druidia! The drama builds as you navigate the different floors, activating switches, using druid powers to move platforms and shift obstacles. The touch and tilt gameplay works seamlessly (and looks so natural with those sparkles!) as you make your way ever upwards and the visuals have jaffakree’s trademark artistry. How will it end? Will the magic and music be enough to rescue Druidia once and for all? The series is building to a great climax. Can’t wait for the denouement.

http://i8.api.vita.lbp.me/img/bl/1f832bfd6ed8940a8736ae4a5c1aa2137b2ea6d9.pngA Race.pellemannenThe title pretty much says it all. Have fun. 1P
Levels in Little Big Planet are suppossed to be fun. That's the whole point in playing this game. To have fun. The latest level from Pellemannen is pure fun! A total joy to play as is easy on the eyes to look at. With a picture perfect art design and perfectly placed decorations and stickering. Strap on your racing shoes, and have a blast! This level is as straightforward as its no frills title suggests. It does what it says on the tin (sorry, Brit reference there, lol!) It takes the game back to its essentials and shows just what fun you can have with some plain old fashioned platforming – at least when it’s as well designed as this! The race weaves beautifully in and out of the layers and presents you with a string of possible combos which will have you frowning in concentration as you try to get that highscore (I didn’t btw ). It’s topped off with some great, catchy music and simple but effective visuals. This level proves once again that sometimes less is very much more and reminds you just why you like LBP in the first place.

IIITAKTLOSSIII
King Tizoc doesn't like intruders. But he likes ziplines. ~~~~ DONT MOVE UP/DOWN WHILE ZIPLINING

Excuse me what did I just play. Let me rub the drool off my mouth. This Track left my mouth open the whole time as I was blown away at the details and awesome atmosphere. You go around what appears to be some ancient ruins, when all of the sudden, BAM! your zip-lining around all over the place. I was blown away at this feature as is was smooth and crisp. You will be traveling around and see a beautifully crafted Ship in what appears to be inside a cavern all alone. On the second lap a volcano erupts and the drool hits the floor as you have mere moments to react. Go check this track out now! Your missing out if you don't.

Go through this magnificent track as you try and survive the insanity that this track provides. You will fall in love with every turn on this track has to offer. This track will make you say "Todo i don't think we're in Kansas anymore." As you witness things being sucked up into some kind of machine. Play this track right now its super epic.

Little Big Planet has always been our game of creating and some people take it to the next level. Some people push the boundary's of what we can do and this Race track level, I can review this as a level because it is a level. I really enjoyed every bit of this level for what it has with its game-play. The mini-game of smashing blocks with a bouncing ball has always been a classic and one of my favorites. So what are you waiting for play this level on Karting today.

Woo, Jellyfish's Garden is one of my new favourites on the Vita, so it's great it got a spotlight. It's nice to see the Vita side of things getting a surge of activity (and a barrage of solid levels). Hopefully a new piece of substanive DLC will reinvigorate interest in the game.

It's also the first time I played all of the spotlighted PS3 levels, so I'll need to check out some of the pseudos. By the way, is that rude? I've been referring to the nods as pseudos for ages and I have no clue how horribly condescending it is.

Thanks you creators and crew for another episode.

Thank you for the Spotlight, guys

I have a complaint.
Is it fair?
On PS3 section your reviews are huge, like 10-15 lines.
On vita/Karting section, your reviews got at max 5-6 lines.

On the main page, only the PS3 Section is visible. We need to click on the 'View original post' to look at the Vita/Karting sections.

The whole point of Spotlight (at least for me) is to read all this wonderful reviews and make us (creators) feel hyped.

Don't get me wrong. I love the spotlight crew and you guys do a FANTASTIC work spotlighting all of those amazing levels.

Constructive Criticism. And sorry for my bad english.

well, to answer your first question, about the number of lines for the reviews/comments, It's actually supposed to be only 5-6 sentences, but often times, I just can't limit myself and go overboard.
The other one about the "main page list" I don't know. Probably has something to do with the hamsters not being able to combobulate that much info into one space

A Karting track is harder to review then a level on lbp2 because there is only so muck we can say about a track as compared to a lbp2 level as there is only so much gameplay elements you can put into a track virse level. I have reviewed LBP2 levels it is much easier to come up with words unless others have posted same feedback, (idk about vita) yes it is fair as we look at all games as a whole. your feed back is always respected cakito and good job on reciving the spotlight

Congrats to all creators and thanks to the crew for their continuous hard work!

@ cakito - I guess it comes down to the spotlighter giving the review and how much time he/she has to give. I was a little pressed for time this week so my reviews might seem a little light.

Plus the ps3 spotlighters are extra awesome, and give 110%. Not like the vita crew, that only give 100%.

Also, there's a typo in the first sentence. It should be episode 115, not 116. Unless I time warped again, which is a distinct possibility.2013-07-08 00:36:00

I can understand.

If you guys have time only for writing only one Big-Review, would be lovely if you take turns between episodes.
For example, you wrote a big review on PS3 this time, next time you would write a big review on the Vita one, next time on KArting one, etc.
Only a suggestion.

Thanks for spotlighting 'A Druid's Tale 3"! I am currently hard at work on ADT4, the final installment. It will be the first time I create a boss. Boy, do I some good news for you, cakito!

I'll be thinking up small essays next time for all future levels (Karting that is, although I may squeeze into the PS3 & Vita Section every now and then ...MWAHAHA). Thanks for your suggestions, as they're very helpful, and we do listen.

I'll be thinking up small essays next time for all future levels (Karting that is, although I may squeeze into the PS3 & Vita Section every now and then ...MWAHAHA). Thanks for your suggestions, as they're very helpful, and we do listen.

Nooo, I'm active only on vita.
Squeeze the rest
Just kidding.

Bio's right. The reviews are meant to be around 5-6 sentences long and I'm one of biggest culprits when it comes to writing over long reviews! It does just come down to individual style really. I tend to ramble on, other spotlighters are more succinct. To be honest, those of us on the PS3 crew did wonder at one point whether anyone apart from the creator of the level being featured was actually reading our reviews and we tried to cut down on length as a result...but it's crept back up again.

My Vita reviews are shorter but that's not deliberate. It's just because these days I'm only ever reviewing a Vita level as a last minute emergency thing to help out the Vita crew and don't have very much time to play the relevant levels and come up with a comment.

The front page posting is definitely a technical issue to do with only being able to feature the first post in a thread and I don't think there's anything that can be done about it, sadly.

Is it fair?

Some game reviews are more equal than others.

...I fully expect Snack Shack as at least a pseudo-spotlight in 116.

Congratulations to all spolightees and thanks to all spotlighters. You're all doing a great good. Great picks too! Played them all already. Wasn't able to beat Cream and the Clocktower though, lol. It kept breaking on me. There's no protection from accidentally throwing your box onto an unreachable shelf, and no way back once you've done that.2013-07-08 14:04:00

Advertise, advertise, advertise. You can make a level thread in this section here. Vita Levels (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?158-LBPV-Level-and-Object-Showcase)
Remember to add pictures and good level description. Remember, you are trying to convince the reader to play your level.

Congrats on the spotlighted levels. I'm still waiting for my PS3 to get its disc lens working again, but I queued the levels to get ready to play them the next time I get on LBP2 and LBPK. Looking forward to play the LBPV ones soon.2013-07-09 03:57:00

Great job again, on Spotlight 115! Your efforts are definitely appreciated by the Community.

Fantabulously Fantastic Levels "Creators"! The "Spotlights" and "Honorable Mentions" are well deserved.

Sadly, I think this is the first time that I have clicked open and actually read any of the Spotlights! Anyways, doing so today has made me a lifetime follower/devotee/whatever! I've played a couple of these levels and there are others that I have yet to play. Thanks for your hard work in putting these all together and I can't wait for the next one! 2013-07-09 14:03:00
