Hi, I was just able to play LBP for about 30 minutes so forgive me if this is a stupid question. When I started the game I got this standard Sackboy outfit and when I pressed L1 there was my usual nickname above his head (though I have no idea where the game got it from ). Well after some time into the game I pressed L1 again, but this time it had my ugly PSN name above his head and I really don't want to use that one. It's a stupid name, that I chose because nothing else was available. So is there a way to rename my Sackperson again? And another Sackperson related question: Is it possible to create other independent characters in my game, for friends who want to try the game too? Or is there only one possible character in each game?

The Sackboy doesn't have a name so you can't change it. The name you see appear is your PSN name. If you want another name you need another PSN account. To have different Sackboys for other people you need to save different outfits that other people could use if they want or obviously let them make their own costumes and save it. People playing with you can use the other accounts on your PS3 (and not PSN accounts) or simply chose to be "guest". .

the first name was probably your profile name and then when you played your first online level/reached the point where you can access the online levels the first time/finally managed to connect to the lbp servers the name permanetly changed to your psn. This feature is for other people to be able to know which sackboy is which person as they can change outfit at any time, if it didn't display your psn it wouldn't really work that well...

It uses your User name when your offline and then when you go online it's changes to the PSN one.

Ah ****, that's not good. I guess I'll have to sit down and try to find a normal PSN name then. I hope there's still something available...

Well if you're offline, then it'll show you your username that you're using on your playstation. (so, it won't be your psn >__>)

That won't help if I have to wear that dumb name when I'm online. ^^ Make yourself a new PSN account with a name you like? Never press L2 to see your old name over your character? Stop reading your old name when it's on screen? There isn't much we can do. :/
