It's really stupid there's a limitation on the number of hearts you can give people's tracks (think it's limited to 30 or something?) I notice now on a lot of new tracks that the only people who heart are newer players because older players have already maxed out their 30 heart limit and seriously, who can be bothered to constantly keep going back in and re-evaluating their heart chocies? And who the hell thought it would be a good idea to add this limit anyway? Or is this just another broken element of the game that'll likely never be fixed?

This made me laugh when I found out, because even though I've never played ModNation Racers, I have a hard time believing how a decent studio would make so many nobrainer mistakes. Makes me curious as to how much involvement MM had other than shouting "use planets! And sackpeople! And pods! Stephen Fry! It's perfect!" over their shoulders.

I doubt Mm was involved anywhere after the project kick-off, if at all. IIRC ConfusedCartman said his job as community manager also involved answering questions from the developers about LBP specifics.

I know this is a bit late to the conversation. But perhaps they added the heart limitation as a (failed) effort to try and combat the older levels always having the most hearts and thereby help out some of the newer levels. If so then they obviously underestimated the amount of effort people put into being lazy.

What do they think this is, a financial simulator?

I didn't realise there was a limit, I was wondering why other levels weren't coming up on my heart list and it wasn't working. I use the heart to keep a list of levels I'd like to revisit at some point - I'm going to have to use the list feature on lbp.me instead if it will let me for levels not shared online.
