He is joking, over 9000 is a meme. To answer your question though, I honestly have no idea. On LBP2 you can see how many people there are currently online, but it seems to be missing on LBPV (Or I just missed it. <_<). Tarsier should add that function in.

It can be seen on LBPV (when viewing the menu of the community moon). What I have seen,it's about 200-700 depending on the date and time.

Ok awesome thanks so much! I have another question now haha I'm looking to invest into buying a vita and literally I have an addiction to this game so id be investing nearly 100% of my time playing littlebigplanet vita on it. Knowing it got great reviews. My question is has the community including its size stayed pretty solid since launch? Or has it slowly dwindled or become less active?? Thanks so much guys!!!

It's slowly dwindled down like all other communities but not that much, it will be around for a long time to come, I recommend you buy it.

Oh awesome guys! Thanks so much for the help and answers! I just ordered a vita 20 mins ago and I'm really excited to get started! I really appreciate it and if there is anything I should do or know about lbp vita or possibly just want to play with someone...don't hesitate to say something! Thanks a ton!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, cool! I've already seen a lot of people that wanted to know the advantages on the Vita version in comparison to LBP2. On the vita, you have things like touch, and tilt (i think the ps3 has it too though). Touch is just amazing, you can do so much stuff with it! With it, people have made new "app-style" games and puzzles, it's amazing! Also, there's now a Memoriser. It's kind of like a Selector, only when you use the Cycle button, it saves whatever has been selected, and the next time you play, whatever has been selected is still on! You can now make a shop system, or games with multiple levels! I've been expirimenting with it, it's kind of hard for me since i'm a bit of a logic noob at some points, but there's a bunch of tutorials on it on the internet and on LBPV though. Not only that, there's loads of new story levels (ofcourse) and community levels that aren't on LBP2! I hope that helps!
