multi-select and cloning

| Hey all. I'm a LBP2 veteran just getting started in LBPK and I have a n00b question: Why am I sometimes not able to select an object or a group? I just cloned a group and maybe several copies. I can select all the copies no problem, but I can't select the original. Is there no marquee tool to drag around an object to select it? This is pretty frustrating. I don't remember there being a drag select. But feel I sometimes have to hold or maybe press harder before a select happens. It could be all in my head though.  | 2013-06-10 10:17:00 Author: Rogar  Posts: 2284 |
| When you press down and hold X you can select multipl object. If you press down once again, you unselect your selection and noramaly you can select again your original object. I don't know if it answer the question but i hope so. | 2013-06-10 13:56:00 Author: gipsy Posts: 408 |
| Thanks. I figured out some of this but I think the main problem making it hard to select things is that it's hard to see what exactly you're hovering your cursor over, since it's in 3D. I am getting better at it, but there are still moments where I am totally confounded as to why I can't select something when it looks like I'm right over it. Oh, that, yes. Move around until the cursor becomes yellow (off the top of my head), then you're in the right place to select something. It helps to rotate with the right stick, but you probably figured that out already.  | 2013-06-11 11:19:00 Author: Rogar Posts: 2284 |
