start and stop motion

Archive: 6 posts

Well, to stay off,.I am a complete logic noob. but I think I make up some pretty decent ideas.

I'm trying to make a level where you move a block through a level using touch control. I want the block to move right when you swipe right and left when you swipe left. But I also want the block to stop when you tap it. There will be multiple blocks in the level at once and There will be various obstacles to traverse. But I can't figure out how to have the block start and stop moving. I'm sure it's an elementary piece of logic and I hope I can get some help D:

I'm sure this can be done with a touch sensor set to not, connected to an anti-gravity thingy with all slides set to 100.2013-06-09 18:55:00

Sorry I wasn't very clear in my first post. I want the box to move as if were like.. sacbot walking right or left. I want it to move like the mini marios in Mario Versus Donkey Kong: March of the Minis for the DS. Where you slide the block one time in the direction you want it to go and then it begins to walk in that direction but if you press the box it will stop.2013-06-09 20:11:00
