Oh, hello!

Greetings, I am Cheese. I've heard of the LBPC many times before, but I haven't really thought of joining until now. Wait, I have to go even more in depth about myself and who I am? Oh, great.

Anyway, I purchased LBP Game of the Year Edition back in 2009, the year I got my PS3. I absolutely loved the game, and the creativity was really showing. It was near the end of the lifespan of LBP 1 that it all fell apart, and I got rid of the game in favor of LBP2. I still regret selling LBP 1, but LBP2 still opens up many opportunities. I hope to get LBP 1 again someday, mostly for nostalgia purposes.

Afterward, I had started making a small movie series in LBP2 called "Stupid Sackbots". It had initially gotten a good fanbase, but then slowly began to deteriorate after the fourth episode, around the time I published a poorly made level known as "Short and Random Films: The Movie". Apparently I wanted to turn everything into a movie at this point, so I had announced a Stupid Sackbots movie but it never really got anywhere. I wound up deleting the movie trailer and published episodes 5 and 6 but got a minimal amount of plays. I eventually deleted the entire series.

I had also attempted to make a cinematic platformer where your character is attempting to escape from the wreckage of a secret lab after something goes wrong, but that never got off the ground, either. The level sat on my earth, locked, for a good time before I just deleted it because I had lost interest in developing the level. It was actually pretty nice, though, and I might come back to it sometime soon.

After that I had put off creating things for a good while, instead preferring to play other games. About a month later, I returned to LBP2 and was instantly put off by the quality of levels being released (because, you know, this whole "level spamming" thing going on at the moment), so I decided to begin reviewing nearly every level I played. I'm not talking about the usual reviews, just saying "great" or "terrible", I would actually go in depth until I had hit the character limit. Even then I was wanting to write more about the greatness, or terrible... ness that I had just experienced. This had gone to the point where I began making levels known as "LBP2 Reviews", which I am still making, and published a good 3 levels that you can still check out on my earth. Basically, I just talked about popular levels and gave a verdict on whether they should be played or not. I am currently working on the fourth episode, which will be better than ever, but I kind of feel like I'm putting it off more than I should.

Well, that's me. Wow, that was a lot of words. I hope to fit right into this community and discover some awesome creators!

Howdy and welcome to LBPC. So glad you joined. This is really a great place to be. It's an awesome place to make new friends, learn techniques and tricks and just to have a good time. To help you explore the site I'll provide a few links for you.

The Level Showcase (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?40-Level-Showcase) area is the place you want to go to make a thread about your level. We have an optional F4F (feedback for feedback) system where you tell others to check out your level, come back and give feedback/suggestions and you'll do the same for them. It's a valuable system that is underused here. Be sure to use the LBP.me tool (the white bell in a blue box icon) http://www.lbpcentral.com/images/lbpme.png this will pull your level info from LBP.me and place it in the thread for you. Welcome to the boards. Yay another reviewer! XD

You should review my level Close Your Eyes sometime. That is, IF you can make it through. XD I somehow doubt many people will make it.
