Ooh, now this sounds interesting. Good to see you've added some pics, a short description, and an lbp.me link for those without LBP currently right in their faces. (Fortunately, it is for me. ) Alright then, I'll give this one a play, and post my thoughts down below. (Fair warning though, my reviews usually drag out a lot, so I should also have a more condensed, pros/cons list somewhere at the bottom of this post.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When first entering the level, I was introduced to some very funky beats commanding the audio sector of the level. Lots of nice instruments used, with some sweet techno-bubbliness squeezed into it. I'm not sure if all the mushiness around the introductory checkpoint is how the MGS material looks when cut like that, but it does seem kind of messy, and imo, could use a little polishing. The semicircle doors are alright, but could maybe use a little detail to match the rest of the level. (Maybe even add a little sound to it when it opens and closes, if you want.) The neon-colored floors are bright and fit with the kind of party-like music in the background, which is cool.

After taking my first few steps, I run into an interesting hologram sackboy giving you some instructions. Having a hologram guide is a cool concept, although a little more could be done. Maybe make the platform he's on a little fancier, instead of as it is now, where it kind of sticks out like a sore thumb from the rest of the level. A little futuristic-sounding audio could also make the hologram dude pop up a little more interesting, but the gibberish voicing is nice. The pre-set sackboy shape used for him makes it look a little weird, and when he's sized down later, it also looks a little cheap, no offence. It's a tricky situation with the sackboy shape, but I think some touches could be made. The crashing of the tower against the floor is cool, and I liked how you threw in some audio while having the neon floor completely turn off. I do like me some bubbles as well, although the strings and close-level post do seem kind of out of place. Stickering the post and making the strings invisible are always an option, although I think I'm worrying too much about minor details like those, so it's up to you there. Jumping down into the pit below, the level goes dark immediately, and things get pretty interesting.

The "lightinator" is a pretty cool device with a simple yet neat design, with green circles and a cool set-up attached to your back. It's a simple concept that works. The charging sounds that come from each block when emitted is great, and syncs up perfectly as it begins to light up. The blocks themselves aren't the most complex is design, but in this case, it doesn't matter. Some of the level design does get a little messy, given the rounded materials used, and aside from the "funky fresh" music playing in the ground, it can feel pretty empty. there are some more places where sounds could come into play, like when a large door opens and closes by pushing a red button near it, but the use of audio seems to improve later on in the level, which was good. The teleportation near the end was cool, and the doors themselves were simple but interesting. The overall spaceship design could use some work, and more materials could have been used for it to spice things up for the place. I do like all the doodads you placed by the sackbot, but the lack of materials inside the place along with various awkward indentations shows that some polish could be used.

TL;DR...

Pros
--------
1. The lightinator was a fun power-up to behold, with some great lighting/sounds used for each block emitted, and working well with the gameplay.
2. Funky fresh music that accompanies the level through and through.
3. Neon-colored floors at the beginning and spaceship doodads at the end show for some futuristic party kind of charm in the design.

Cons
-------
1. Parts of the level felt a bit too empty, and the darkened sections/spaceship could've used for some more materials.
2. Some areas of the level could've used for some more sounds to spruce things up.
3. Awkward indentations in the spaceship and some slightly messy results of the rounded materials used detracted from parts of the level.
4. Too short! I'd really like to have used the power-up longer before being cut off by spaceship dude

I hope none of my criticisms were taken the wrong way. ^^ In the end, it's your level, so it's up to you on what changes you might want to make, but hopefully my overly-detailed review has helped in one way or another.
