Men, there is an urgent matter at hand. Earlier today I was notified by a friend via PSN that my in-game earth had been copied and used as their own earth by a wannabe cool page spammer who goes by the name of name removed. I wish to obtain assistance from anybody who is willing to assist me in finding away of taking care of this problem in any means possible. Thank you. I know there was a glitch in the BETA that you could copy someone else's earth decorations, but I don't know if it is still in the full game. Apparently it is! I would recommend ether flagging his account on LBP.me or reporting the problem to MM.

Ummm.. so they just copied it to make theirs look like yours? I really don't see how that is a problem. Hah no no, they used the glitch mentioned by BLAHBLAH1000 to actually transfer my earth with its materials and all its decos to their earth- I mean, I guess I could take it as a compliment that they liked my earth that much, but I still think it is wrong to steal somebody's things like that, which is the reason why I want it taken care of.

Wasn't a glitch as such... just that quick people were able to save other worlds before they reverted back to their own due to the change being a bit slow. This was fixed pretty early on in the beta. Not to trample on people's advice but isn't the whole report a user for simply having a similar looking world a bit harsh? There are a lot of people that play, or have played, LBP and the chances are you're going to find two earths that are similar. Coincidences do happen and although stealing is wrong you need real evidence to prove it. meh... wish you the best of luck anyway but remember that all coins have two sides.

I honestly wouldn't care if somebody made an earth that was "similar" to mine. But the thing is, they are actually using MY earth- the reason I know is because they have the same level slot decorations as my earth, and nobody can fully see those decorations unless you were to delete my levels, so how could he know how to decorate his earth exactly like mine and place the exact same decorations in the same places as my earth?

Haha yea, I was having a bit too much fun with the wording in the first post, so I'm off to report it soon enough :3 Well... the problem is that there are quite a few that show up talking about theft, but you didn't lose anything. Nothing was damaged and no blood no foul. True it still maybe an issue they need to look at and reported. So please stay away from drama, especially naming names. We have more than enough here. ..and since you are reporting, there is not much else for this thread so I am locking.
