Checkpoint problems while making a level

I'm trying to make a level and I have it almost complete. But every time I put down my checkpoints, when I change it to play mode to test it out, they are already activated and so when I die, I will pop out of random checkpoints! Does anyone know how in the world to fix it? I would really like to publish my level but I can't without checkpoints! This has also happened on another level I'm trying to make! Thanks for any help! You're probably on versus mode... which activates all the checkpoints so that people can make death match levels. Make sure you are on co-op mode which can be found near the end of the tools bag.

If this isn't the issue, replace all the checkpoints and make sure to put an entrance checkpoint at the start.

Yes, it is on versus mode. I'm making my own Wipeout level which is going to be totally different from all the others, because I'm practically making all of the obstacles myself. I just thought versus was fitting for it.2013-06-04 17:46:00

Yes, this is probably the issue. Just change the level type to cooperative. You are still ranked up with your friends, and you can just decorate the level on your earth and put a "Versus" tag to make it look like a versus level.2013-06-04 19:19:00

or... put a not gate on them, and then make it so when you walk by a checkpoint it turns all checkpoints off via a tag, and then after a timer goes off, turn this checkpoint on, after turning the tag back off. Issue is, when a player goes by one, all players will respawn at this one so keep this in mind, the only other way is to use a complex fake checkpoint and sack people to create fake player specific checkpoints.2013-06-05 23:53:00
