User title problem

Archive: 12 posts

Simple, I used to have custom user titles, and now I don't.
I used to have like a custom user title up, the one I have before was one that told people to call me Ultra. And now I realized when I was gonna change it, I'm suddenly Junior Sackperson again and I can't find the option to change the title. I tried to buy another custom title in the xp market, but it wouldn't let me.
Any mod can elaborate or fix this please?

XP market isn't how that works anymore... you need to earn the profile upgrades in order to unlock the feature.2013-06-03 20:47:00

Ah, ok. Thanks. Been a while since I been here. Even then, last time I wasn't paying attention to the new shiny stuff that the mods put in.

I should probably also note that, if I'm right, you can also donate to the site and the features become unlocked too. But that option isn't always useful for everyone depending if you feel that real money justifies a title change and it can often take time for your profile to be updated (depending on how active Taffey is). The best thing to do is just post helpful and on topic posts often and you'll soon unlock the features automatically.2013-06-03 20:52:00

Eh, I don't really have a credit card anyways, well, time to do this the ol' fashion way.

You may be at the point where you can set your own title check settings > edit profile http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/profile.php?do=editprofile and see if you have a Custom User Title section at the top the optional section.2013-06-03 20:53:00

Are you sure last time you were changing it you didn't accidentally click 'reset'?
I've done that before ^w^

How much exp would he need to change it back?

I have so much exp, I might as well donate it. Just how much would I need to?

EDIT: Sorry, forgot, market's not working, so I don't think I can give exp. Oh well, I tried being good but I guess LBPC wants me to remain evil

When the market was working you could get a title change with enough xp. Since it no longer works, the automatic profile upgrades or donating is the only way to get those features. (i.e. title change, animated avatar, larger storage, etc.)

https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=27574-Automatic-Profile-Upgrades

Profile upgrades are based on rep and not xp.
