Dark Isles

| The Little Big Planet just got darker... and isleser... My new race is DARK ISLES (https://karting.lbp.me/v/c1nd). You'll be racing through a ring of small islands in a thick, gloomy fog. At the center of the course is a skeletal castle of light (which might be ground zero for an arena someday) but the race consists of the outer ring. I've included some tricky jumps and sharp turns, but the scenery is deliberately desolate. Maybe it's the influence of seeing all of those barren "My First Level" races but I like the sparse landscape. No, this is not the cheery LBPK you're used to, but it's not an overt horror/spook fest either. Oh, and the racers are set to "expert" mode here. I don't think the race is obnoxious like some of the later story levels, but I haven't gotten a first-place finish yet. This level is in beta. While I like what I've done, I'm not sure it's got enough to do. Also, I'm trying to find a way to make sure the level looks empty without it looking like I slapped it together in five minutes. There are about ten hours of work here, and I figure a lot of the great levels take twenty hours or longer to make. Feedback and criticism are welcome and needed. Also, if anyone knows where I can find some dead tree objects, that would help out a lot. I tried making one but I'm not very good with object creation yet. Queued, but some pictures would be nice and help you get more plays.  EDIT: Played it with friends, none were impressed, flowed okay and the bounce jumps were a neat idea but the lack of any kind of detail made us believe this was amateur hour. I get that you were going for a minimal look but even so, the most impressive element is the light source which on closer inspection appears to be a bunch of candles!
