i didnt say anything that warranted getting it locked. i thought this site was for feedback and the spreading of ideas? i guess i have to watch what i say or you guys will get mad and lock me out or ban me or something. wow!

Read the threads, they locked the first one to protect you, they locked the second one because you reopened a closed subject in a new thread... and they'll probably lock this one now that you have an answer.

Well think about it. You start the first thread saying the spotlight team isn't doing a great job. We all give you great advice as well as informing you are wrong. We locked it because any more folks commenting would have not gone well. We don't want flame wars here and that thread would have gone that way had we let it continue. Then you make another because you didn't get to reply.. Had you given the first one more thought and been more friendly, that may have not been necessary, like had you simply asked a question rather than assuming and suggesting they ONLY pick platformers. ..which was no where near correct. ..and now we have a third one because you just don't get it? You tell us... we aren't here to be bullies, but if your thread becomes locked, don't make another. If you really want to ask, you could simply send a PM rather than clogging the site with your antics. We don't wish to be this way, but you seem to be quite like the bull in the china shop, smashing everything anytime you turn around. Reread my post in that first thread. I spent quite a bit of time giving you some great advice, but it seems you ignored it. ...just like Lady Luck's advice on not creating any more duplicate threads, although this one is a bit different. We love ideas and feedback. None of which you have done. Had you studied the spotlights more, you would not have made such false claims.

no offence but u guys acted childish about the whole thing Not doing yourself any favours here... I though I might have been slightly, and I mean ever so slightly, harsh to which I apologize but the mods and everyone else acted accordingly and were merely corrected your false facts.

Yeah.. you were a bit harsh, but he did make quite the huge assumptions without any real research. However you are correct. He isn't doing himself any favors now. This site is to help creators and if you have some feedback on something please share it, but you also must have respect for other members, especially the staff and the spotlight team. MMmm' kay?

David and jw have both answered your question. LBPC is for sharing ideas, feedback and creativity in a positive and supporting environment. One of the things we do as Mods is try and keep the forum organized, clean, fun, help and disarm controversial situations so all the members can enjoy the site. We do not , as you put it, lock people out or ban them without valid reasons and much internal discussion.

srry if this post became such a big problem. that wasnt my intent. i just figured that u guys have a certain philosophy to how u pick ur lvls and i was trying say that i think it may be flawed. to tell u the truth i wasnt expecting anyone to even read this let alone reply. comparing to my other posts. n srry about all the double posting

u guys talk like i havnt played any spotlights. ok let me clear this up. 9 out of 10 lvls u pick are platformers! is that better?! and y would u say that this post isnt doing me any favors? cuz i made u mad n now u wont pick any of my lvls? and dont tell me my lvls wont get picked cuz of copyrights. u guys just picked the lvl based on Flow! so try again plz. its easy to say someone doesnt no what theyre talking about but its harder to come up with the reasons y i guess. and i stand by my previous posts. i just wish u wouldve actually thought about what i said instead of getting all defensive and assuming id get all mad at ur insulting replies cuz u guys acted like u cant take criticism. thts y my posted were blocked. u just wanted to silence the conversation. its funny how u guys tried to discredit me by saying i just made tht post to get plays lol. i have over 300000 plays. thts more then all of u combined. so try again. but i am srry i said u guys r ruining lbp2 cuz u guys r keeping it alive thx. just wish u would u ur influence to try to make it all that it could be. instead of appeasing the masses

Now you seem to be looking to argue. You've been given good advice and I've seen members of the Spotlight crew go out of their way to try and help. They have told you they aren't mad and you have the same chance as everyone else to be spotlighted. Try their advice.

If you actually could write coherent sentences, I might be more interested to read what you post. ...but I digress. Let me make it simple for you. (though a repeat) 1. What they pick from is whatever was posted within a two week period. They have no control over what creators post. For example, If most farmers take pigs and cows to market, then don't be surprised at the low amount of kangaroos. 2. If the levels from that period of time meet with their standards, they are spotlighted no matter what type of level they are. 3. Most levels created are platformers, but many other levels of different types have made it. Just to make sure you understand (though I doubt you will) We don't pick the levels.. that is up to the spotlight team and regardless what you say about them, if they feel your level is worthy, you will get a spotlight. They do not play favorites. I don't understand at all what you are about. This nice guy / rude guy approach to whatever you seem to be upset about makes no sense at all. You almost seem drunk the way you are going on and on about nothing. We gave you a ton of help in how all this works. Your facts are completely baseless as shown by several members of the spotlight team. ...and as far as amount of plays being more than all of us? You seriously have no idea what you are talking about or cannot add. You state they cannot take criticism, but it seems you really cannot understand any amount of facts or reasoning showing how wrong you are. Just seems you want to make up stuff that makes no sense at all. If you truly wanted to share ideas, you are going about it badly like tossing mud at your Grandma to coax her into making you a cake. Then you wonder why we lock your threads. Wow... I wonder. Tell me why I shouldn't lock this one? One of your prior posts pretty much goes against rule #2. ..at least before you edited it. Here is my conundrum. If I lock it you will make a new one and then we will probably have to silence or ban you for awhile. If I don't lock it and you get all nasty, then pretty much the same thing will happen. Hmmmmmm... So up to you really... Play nice, or don't play at all. Have a nice day. ..and I pick #1 locking.
