Haunted Tour (http://lbp.me/v/hc184g)

All my levels on this account are intended to be part of one big game made up of three hub worlds. It is not designed to be played in any specific order so you can jump in anywhere.

This is one of the hub levels.

Explore a haunted house ride and visit famous monster worlds. Each level entrance is adorned with an intricate opening animation.

The levels include
Zombies - The zombie apocalypse falls upon the swamp in this frightening level. Uses creatinator and grabinator.

Ha ha, I tried two of them. The Zombie Whisperer and a Scaremerican Tale. Both very very fun, and they have a really nice visual look. Some good detail work going, and some cool surprises. A few of the obstacles are a little untimely. Particularly in the haunted mansion, where ghost pop up at really fast intervals making timing a bit hit and miss. It's a little bit of a disconnect since some of the other obstacles are so easy, but I did make it through after a few tries. (I'm only mentioning it because I know how a lot of people are. They die twice in the same room and they quit, the dorks!)

They did do an excellent job of making want to play more in the hub, as I did go back to play the zombie one. ZOMBIE IN THE HAY SURPRISED ME. Okay. That was my spoiler. XD I also really liked the little thing with the dude's wife. Some really fun stuff.

The hub itself is a wee bit dark at times, making it hard to see some of the level entrances. I noticed it most with the vampire level first, and the Frankenstein one second. (It was clearly intentional on the Santa one.) Consider me a fan though. I want to try all of these now. XD

Wow thank you so much. I know what you mean about the ghosts being too hard. It's something I struggle with I prefer to make challenging levels but I know people don't really give lbp levels a chance if they are hard at all. The darkness thing is something I get a lot and I struggle with it. I keep the brightness on my TV way up so it never looks dark to me. Then I get these dark comments. I really do need to go through my old levels and just brighten them up. I really appreciate the feedback. I seriously admire your work so it really does mean a lot. I also appreciate the comment about the visual style, I really do make an effort to keep my own semi consistent look throughout my work. I can't wait to play more of your stuff and give you some feedback in return. Unfortunately I have a biking injury in my hands at the moment that won't allow me to play. As soon as it is better I will get some feedback to you.2013-06-03 02:18:00
