How to make teleporter

I haven't spoken to him, but there's two theories I have: THE SPAWN POINT There are two types of spawn points. One is a starting spawn point (white) and the other is an override spawn point (pink). Placing a white spawn on a track will be what a player starts from, but a pink spawn point overrides the game's default re-spawn mechanic, so if you place this type after, say, a pit with flaming spikes that every player falls into, they will spawn to the closest pink spawn point. So here's where (if I'm right) it gets brilliant: when the player enters the portal room, he trips a player sensor which kills him immediately with no effects and no sound. At the same time, a glowing orb is emitted that uses a path following motor, following the camera's natural tracking to the overriding pink spawn, creating the effect. This is used less gracefully here (https://karting.lbp.me/v/axo7) to transition a player around the track, but that's one possibility. The problem I see with this is that as far as I can remember, you can control what shows for death animation but not for what comes up for re-spawn, and last I checked there is no "portal pop" effects after the orb reaches its destination. THE CUSTOM KART In this theory, when the player enters the room they trip a player sensor and are transformed using the custom kart tweak into the glowing orb with controls disabled and using path following motors, transports them to its destination before reverting back to the player. This would solve the effects problem I mentioned above, but I haven't tested whether players can be controlled via path motors. That's it.
