LBP2 community still big?

Archive: 12 posts

I have seen online there were 15000. Was wondering if this was still a decent number. I havent really looked at it before. I plan on coming back this summer, was wondering if its still fairly popular online?2013-05-25 23:14:00

12,000 before LBP2 was a PS+ exclusive was a decent number. 15,000-20,000 is usually your average, so yes, the game is relatively popular. For a game this old, its impressive to even see 10,000 people play online on here. If Mm is still working on new Create DLC, then that number spikes a few thousand here and there.2013-05-26 01:03:00

The game's still pretty popular, if you go on LBP.me, you can see that there are still levels being made every second. That's pretty impressive for a game that's, what? Three years old?2013-05-26 23:01:00

Hello Mr. Youbetterfinishchronochrysalisitalongwithlovericea remyonlytangiablepioneerhopes!

I think it's about the same size as Halo 3, which is quite impressive for a "kids" game.
Still, the number of people online are mostly kids, and they're dwindling fast. I think it's impossible to get Group Hug of 20,000 now.

Yea, I noticed the numbers went down since I first came. I am back though, just very quite lol I did go online and see about 7000000 levels, which is awesome. It might increase a bit this summer too.2013-05-29 19:31:00

@ tim
Honestly the small parts of the community that keeps me going. I feel I am in the same boat, a lot of my favorite creators are very inactive in LBP2, but I guess this means newer creators can have the show if the community is still big.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I am headed back to my pod

I know a lot of users have been "bummed out" of ideas, but there are still some people left. Even though LBP2 wasn't as good as it used to be, there's still a lot of people left.

Now that is what scares me. The community has shrank so much that you can't get this pin anymore.

Not true.

I have literally just checked my uber-secret and fantastical LittleBigPlanet statistics out of sheer curiosity myself...
And I can tell you that we regularly exceed 20,000 players on LittleBigPlanet 2.

If you really want the Group Hug Pin, I would try playing more at the weekend and you should hopefully get it soon enough.
