Components act differently depending on the ground closeness?!

Maybe spotted before but couldn't find anything related after a, fairly short to be honest, google search. lol In one occasion a thin piece of attracto tweaked hologram refused to work while close to the ground but worked perfectly when moved a few centimeters higher on PS3. In another occasion, on PS Vita this time, a tag and follower solution, for a lame elevator contraption lol, refused to work, follower close to the ground and tag about 20 sacks high, although when copied and pasted to another level, or moved to the left and close to the initial level entrance worked fine. All settings were 1000 checked. I know the description sounds quite confusing lol but anyone capable to follow me, knows if this is a known issue and or reported to get satisfaction site?
