So I currently decided to work on a level I haven't done anything with in almost a year. There's a part in the level where the player enters a controllinator and fights an enemy. When the player defeats the enemy, I have it set to eject the player from the controllinator, activate an emitter that emits a teleporter in another part of the level, and activate the checkpoint near where the player gets teleported. There's a problem however. When the player defeats the enemy and gets ejected, they die. During play mode, the player dies, and then respawns at the checkpoint.. and then dies again. This just keeps happening until I quit the level. I've looked over the logic, and naturally didn't find anything that would cause an infinite death loop at a checkpoint or when the player is initially ejected. The animation that plays is the getting squished animation if that means anything. Anyone have any ideas? | 2013-05-16 22:52:00 Author: Foxdie Posts: 26 |
Check to see if the emiter is emiting infinite teleporters. My best guess is that the teleporter is emited, the player enters, then the teleporter is destroyed with the player in it therefore squishing the player.
