LBP.ME Color Scheme Hard to Read

Archive: 18 posts

I am not even sure if this is the correct topic for this post, so I will not be surprised if it gets moved

My LBP.ME color scheme is awfully hard to read. Here is a pic

How do I fix this?

<script type="text/javascript">
var lbp_scriptHost = 'lbp.me';
</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://lbp.me/widgets/lolz/js/loader.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
var prefs = {lang:'en', levels:10, mode:'mylevels', by:'L-I-M-I', not_me:false, width:'300', theme:'funkian'};
var widget = new LOLzWidget(prefs);
widget.display();
</script>

I would do a ctrl F5. It looks to me you are not getting the css style sheet loaded correctly.

Here is a snap of mine.

Ooops... hang on a sec.. lol

Ok.. open eyes... much much better. lol

I think IE just updated again to a newer version something like 1.78587889990765432 X 10^92013-05-15 06:09:00

I'm having the same problem - I just highlight the text so it's easier to read.

For example, highlight this.

Try Firefox guys... it really is better. IE is fraught with issues.

...even google chrome. I don't like everything about it, but anything is really better than IE

Hmm... Could you download google chrome to see if your having the same problem and if so, right click the page and go to inspect element and then console and paste in the errors if you have any. Then I might be able to see what the problem is. Also by the way... Stop using IE! You will have a fair better web experience with chrome, safari or Firefox.2013-05-15 14:32:00

I doubt they will have an issue with either Google Chrome or Firefox. There is just something wrong with their IE right now that is screwing up the css stylesheets for them. Funny thing is in my version of IE, it works fine, but I also have auto updates shut off with windows. With what I do for $$, I cannot simply have them push whatever they want at me 24/7 as they break things.

Could you provide us with a slightly more accurate version number?

Microsoft follows their own rules in regards to CSS rendering, you'd be better off with Chrome or even Firefox.2013-05-16 04:11:00

The problem is, what about those who don't see this particular thread?

lol... oh well.

What about the zillions of sites outside of LBP.me that have been affected by this or some other update regarding IE? It has been a known issue of web sites and developers for many years. Non compliant browsers have issues at times. This is not anything new.
